If there was a Mt. Rushmore of Wrestling, Ric Flair would be on it
This simple line was from "pure hatred" I think and it got me thinking. Which four heads would be in the Mt.Rushmore of wrestling (there's four right, i'm from oz so i'm not to sure)
I would say the four would be: Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock opinions? |
Vince, Turner, Hogan, Flair
|
Mr.perfect, Hogan, Vince, HHH (he'd have a say) |
or Vince, Shane , Stephanie, and Linda Mcmahon |
Vince, Flair, Hogan, Bischoff
|
A-Train, Goldberg, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan
When people went to see them, they'd botch sitting there and kill whoever was too close. |
Hogan, Flair, Hart, Austin
|
Hogan, Flair, Austin definitely
either Bret, HBK, or Vince |
Yeah, Trips would weasel his way into the picture, so there you go.
|
If HHH was on it, it would only be him, his nose would take up the rest of the mountain
|
lol
|
the nose jokes never get old :D
|
If we're talking about just wrestlers, then Hogan, Flair, Hart, Austin
|
Hogan, Flair, Bret, Me
I plan to have sex with triple h's future daughter |
Flair, Hogan, Rock, Austin
|
Quote:
Hogan for nationalizing wrestling, Flair and Hart for being that damn good (sorry, HHH) and Austin for making it "cool to watch wrestling". |
|
Well, I am going to go a bit further back in professional wrestling history.
Frank Gotch, Lou Thesz, Gorgeous George, Bob Backlund. For the sake of a more contemporary Mount Rushmore I would say- Flair, Hogan, Andre the Giant, Austin. |
Vince, Flair, Bret, Lou Thesz
|
Triple H would merry the daughter of whoever was building it, and then get his face on there.
Anyways my pics are for the guys who really revolutionized the business. I have explained my choices below. Vince McMahon - Turned professional wrestling into the phenomenon it was a few years ago. In order to be one of the elite wrestler in the world you had to work for this man. Hulk Hogan - As much as I don't like him, Hogan broght WWF into the mainstream, and jumpstarted WCW. Ric Flair - One of the pioneers of the business as we know it. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - He was the wrestler who ushered in the "Attitude" era. |

But for a one if it was built today it would probably be the McMahons on it. |
Vince, Hogan, Austin and Rock. But some of those could very well change.
|
Frank Gotch
Andre the Giant Hulk Hogan The Rock The biggest "mainstream" representative from each of the "boom" periods in wrestling history. |
I dont think Ric Flair would make it if it were just pro wrestlers.
You'd have a hard time putting him ahead of Lou Thesz, Hulk Hogan, Austin and Rock. Those 4 guys had a far bigger impact on the business. Flair was great, dont get me wrong, but I dont think he's top 4. |
Hogan and Flair would probably both on it, if it is only wrestlers then Georgous George and Buddy Rodgers. If it could have none wrestlers then Vince would be on it, and either Turner or Bischoff.
|
Hogan
Austin Rock And either Bret or Vince. |
Gorgeous George: Became one of the earliest 'celebrities' of
pro-wrestling. Everyone knew who he was, in or out of wrestling... Bruno Sammartino: Carried the wrestling business for years, and made the promoters tons of money. Arguably, without him, it'd have been hard to keep asses in the seats for a while. Hulk Hogan: Duh. No Hogan = No Mountain  Steve Austin: Again, duh...the late 90's version of Hogan. |
Oh, and if we're going off of wrestling ability, I'd go with:
Lou Thesz Ric Flair Bret Hart Ed "Strangler" Lewis |
Hogan
Flair Steve Austin Bret Hart or HBK |
Nah, if it was for mainstream attention, not everybody knows Frank Gotch, Lou Thesz, Ed Lewis etc.
It would still be Hogan Austin The Rock Ric Flair, Bret or Vince |
vince Russo, Vince mcMahon, Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan
|
Hogan, Vince, Austin and The Rock would be my picks
|
Hogan and Flair most definitely.
Toss up between The Rock and Austin. Then probably Vince. |
