I'm not sure what emo is so could someone tell if these are emo? :?:

The Strokes, not really. Maybe they do have kind of a punkish sound to them, but they are probably more "rock" than "punk".

The Strokes, though I don't really like them, are not particularly whiney. They're more nonchalent sounding or lazy.

i like some alot of indie/emo i hear. i like listening to it more than most genres of music infact. the strokes are just shit.
