What do you do when you're burned out?

Burned out on music or just really tired in general? If the latter, in the sense that you're too tired for music?

just leave it until I feel like picking it up again.

Carry on until i fall asleep. I dont believe in being burned out as there are to many scales to play with.

Basically, I've burned out. It's not that I've lost interest, I just can't seem to put anything together. in fact, I want to be creating. Scales and such are fine, I can still perform, but it's the actual creation issue that I'm at a loss for. So it's not reall an "I don't want to do this" situation, just a "what can I do?" sitch.

<font color=969696>If I want to write something and I can't come up with anything, I go to my archive of unused riffs, melodies, leads, etc. and try to do something with them. Sometimes I change them completely and end up writing more to it.</font>

I just go and do something else for a bit to take a break, and then I play some cover songs I like.
More often than not summat comes together. |
