It turns out they were gonna continue HHH/HBK

FROM THE TPWW.NET NEWS BOARD:
Shawn Michaels was orginally going to face off against Triple H in a New York City street fight, but that has since been changed to a match between Chris Benoit & Triple H. Also included on the card is Randy Orton vs Edge

For god sakes WWE, you were actually gonna continue this f-ucking rivalry?Jesus. And who the f-uck is Shelton gonna face if Orton's facing Edge now? Batista? :wtf:

Joe Kerr 06-20-2004 01:48 PM

Shelton is injured, The street fight was announced before Bad Blood. Since te street fight was a house show they probably wanted to boost ticket sales. Hbk is taking more time off now so storylines change.

ilt_undertaker 06-20-2004 01:52 PM

HBK being gone longer =

*the

They still are continuing it, but I'm sure the Hell in a Cell match will finish any minute now.

John la Rock 06-20-2004 02:49 PM

If they feud again it won't be for at least a year. HHH is probly going to feud with Benoit for the belt while HBK will definetly feud with Kane when he returns

MVP 06-20-2004 02:54 PM

When and where were Triple H and Shawn Michaels supposed to have a New York Street Fight?

The Naitch 06-20-2004 02:54 PM

HHH and HBk have done it all. Well alomost. I still have the stinkin feeling that they'll try for the Ironman match in the future

The Naitch 06-20-2004 02:57 PM

jk

Just because it's called a "New York" Street Fight doesn't mean it's New York, it's just a catchy title.

The Naitch 06-20-2004 03:07 PM

Note to the writers: Ignore the Ironman match idea. I was just screwing around. Seriously. We have no interest in seeing another Triple H/HBK feud.

Thanks,

The NAitch

(On the side, does anyone think Trips and Shawn could actually pull off an Ironman match, or would it be a disater?)

Pretty much a disaster because they have to rely on sheer wrestling, and considering how bad the HIAC match was...it just gives me chills to think another 60 minute match between them would be like.

Yeah, I haven't been watching PPVs' recently that's why I can't really critique anything when it comes to matches. Last PPV I saw was XX.

60 minutes? What, did you see the abridged version?

(I did...I took a nap halfway through).

The Naitch 06-20-2004 03:23 PM

I was thinking if you PAYED to see the PPV, you'd atleast TRY to stay awake by any means necessary to make the most out of your money

Fox 06-20-2004 03:26 PM

Actually, I don't think an HBK/HHH Iron Man Match would be all that bad. It wouldn't be like the 45 minute bore-fest at Bad Blood because they would actually be scoring pinfalls, hitting big spots, and using psychology, which would make the match much, much more interesting than HIAC.

But fuck Triple H vs. HBK, it's been more played out than MC Hammer jokes.

That reminds me, what did MC Hammer say to his kids when they tried to put their fingers in a socket? "Don't touch it". Ba-doom-pish.

Londoner 06-20-2004 08:01 PM

Shelton's injured? Damn, atleast i know why he wont on Raw then.

See, this is why we were begging you to come back for so long.

Anyways, if I never see another Triple H/Shawn Michaels match, it'll be too soon.

I don't think I COULD stay awake during anbother Triple H/HBK mtach, no matter how much I paid.

Fortunately, I didn'tpay for it, and I didn't watch it (Live).

Shadow 06-20-2004 08:38 PM

I couldn't pay for an HHH/HBK match. Nor could I be paied to watch a HHH/HBK match. And if the WWE contioues on with this rediculous fued......well you can just shoot me.

I could be paid to watch them again, as long as Chris Benoit had two matches on the card again (one of which sees him successfully defending the world title). Might want to get rid of the stupid 50 minutes dealy before I took anybodies hard earned cash though...

As a failure, your spelling is a great success.

#1-norm-fan 06-20-2004 09:21 PM

They weren't planning on continuiing the feud. It was a house show. It would be a "big time" house show match that has nothing to do with current storylines.

Boondock Saint 06-20-2004 10:18 PM

Their "first" encounter at Summerslam was pretty much a street fight anyway.

Mayo 06-20-2004 10:54 PM

End the freakin feud please!!!

They could always restart it at anytime, basically like they did with the last one, it almost came out of nowhere. They have so much history together, so as long as they don't officially make peace (since they didn't this past Monday), it could happen again when HBK comes back :(

JeremyTB29 06-21-2004 04:05 AM

HBK should go to smackdown and feud with Guerrero or a returning Kurt Angle down the road.Or maybe even if restart his feud with Undertaker. He's running out of people to feud with on Raw.

Edge 06-21-2004 05:56 AM

Thats it boys, kiss and make up.

The production crew at backstage groan as HBK and HHH attempt to create a vase using their faces.

The producers wanted to produce a symmetrical figure, but alas, Triple H's nose was far too big.

c4g2 06-21-2004 06:37 AM

:nono: sysmetrical...

#1-norm-fan 06-21-2004 06:39 AM

lol... The feud is OVER! That's it. No more. Take my word for it. If they do go one on one again @ a PPV it won't be for many years. They had a match scheduled for a house show. House shows mean absolutely nothing. HBK will feud with Kane when he returns and all will be well.

HankScorpio 06-21-2004 11:10 AM

I am having a hard time seeing HBK fued with anyone other than HHH, trust me I'm sick of the HBK v HHH love-fest but I'm having difficulties imagining a HBK/Kane fued

big_bluto 06-21-2004 11:16 AM

HHH: JWO BABY!

LK 06-21-2004 11:17 AM

All I am going to say is that this is not the end of this feud. The WWE will definetly come back to it in the future. It will be like a year but we will see another HHH vs HBK match. BTW how long is Michaels going to off TV. When he comes back they will probably put him in a feud with Kane. One thing I would love is for HBK to face Christian maybe at Westlemania sort of like the HBK vs Y2J match. I think that could really establish Christian as a main event wrestler.
