Big Show

Why is he actually away?

Not in a storyline sense.

Hollywood Red 06-21-2004 07:18 PM

His knees suck. He had surgery. He's healing.

Common knowledge.

Jonster 06-21-2004 07:24 PM

OK thanks.

Haven't totally been following things for the past few months.

The Forgotten One 06-21-2004 07:46 PM

He's expected to be back around August or September.

And he's lost 30 pounds.

Considering he was around 550 when he left, that isn't a whole lot of weight. :-\

If he gets back to the lean 400 he was back in WCW, there are gonne be some awesome Bg Show matches in the future.

HeartBreakMan2k 06-21-2004 09:00 PM

Agreed, Show is a solid worker. It's just a matter of having gotten too big to show it. The man used to do a moonsalt for crying out loud. If he keeps the passion about the business that he seemed to have when he was feuding with Brock, then it'll be nice to see him again.

Oxstar 06-21-2004 09:26 PM

When did the Big Show do a moonsault?

HeartBreakMan2k 06-21-2004 09:31 PM

WCW, when he first started. Then mManagement said that he was supposed a monster, stay on the ground. So they basically told him to be lazy.

Iceman90 06-21-2004 09:58 PM

If his OVW run a few years back didn't get Show back down to 400lbs, nothing EVER will

CheesyChaz 06-22-2004 12:55 AM

Anyone know where I can see big show moonsaulting?

and I can dance better than jonster.I bet he cant do any Too Cool or Blue Meanie style dances. :p

CheesyChaz 06-22-2004 12:59 AM

Hey someone should set up a contest where we post a 10 second clip of ourselves dancing. There could be two catagories: Dance (for those of us that can dance) and Comedy Dancing (for me and anyone else that cant dance, even if they were being shot at).Just for the hell of it.

*Practices Blue Meanie and Too Cool dance routines*

Are you sure he was 550? WWE tend to exagerrate his weight to really drive home the giant thing... I heard he was down around 400 (probably more like 450, he's got chunky)...

I watched an old episode of Nitro I had taped... back then he looked almost 350... he was pretty slim.

Gerard 06-22-2004 01:27 AM

He was on byte this a while back, he said he did a moonsault ONCE down at the wcw powerplant when getting trained (ddp kinda coaxed him into trying it). Obviously back then he was a hell of a lot lighter than he is currently.

Looking forward to him returning anyway, people say big slow bla bla bla but you have to take into account his height and weight, hes not meant to be an angle or a benoit hes meant to be an unstoppable powerhouse.

The Mackem 06-22-2004 07:17 AM

With the most impressive move the Rock has ever seen

"waaaaaahhhh!"

c4g2 06-22-2004 08:15 AM

Big show as the Showster =

loopydate 06-22-2004 02:46 PM

I remember The Giant throwing a dropkick once. That was pretty damned impressive.

John la Rock 06-22-2004 06:01 PM

I gotta see a clip of Big Show doing a moonsault

Maybe if he got his weight down to what he was he'd be able to do one again, at 500lbs though i dont think that either he could do it, or anyones mad enough toa lay there and take the move.

c4g2 06-23-2004 07:10 AM

Or anyone mad enough to lay down and wait for that elusive moonsault.
