Let's have an "intelligent" conversation about pro-wrestling.

I've decided to go on a terse hiatus from posting in casual. Right now, I'm looking at the wrestling threads and there is so much I can discuss, but don't feel motivated enough to argue my points...until now.

If you wish, discuss a smark topic with me. The main reason I became a member of TPWW was because no one I know appreciates the aspects of pro-wrestling like I do. All my friends discontinued watching pro-wrestling after 2000, and I've typically kept my thoughts concerings the state of wrestling to myself.

Anyways, like the title says- Discuss a wrestlign topic that you would probably want to argue with me.

Some examples may include- ratings, gimmicks, pushes, storylines, wrestlers, past/present/future, and whatever else comes to mind.

Loose Cannon 06-26-2004 10:24 PM

Why don't you write something up, like most of us, so we have something to discuss instead of telling us to come up with something to discuss.

Savio 06-26-2004 10:25 PM

Is it "stand back" or "stay in the back"?

Jindrak, you insult my intelligence. That is all.

BTW, I bet you would have sex with Moolah and Mae, as they are "MILFs"

The only way it's the former is if Hurricane pronounces stand as "stainda".

When I say, "Dose Lita insult you're eyes, I'm talking about her "wrestleing skills."

Well, its obviously Lita isn't much of the actor.
To answer your question, she insults my intelligence more. This may be hard to believe, but I don't find Lita to be attrctive, especially since she did that hairstyle with her bangs.

Anyways, this pregnancy angle is going the same direction as the Katie Vick saga, and thats down the tubes within a few weeks. What will the pregnancy angle accomplish? I mean what LONG term goals do the WWE writers have in mind?! Matt will likely feud with Kane, get squashed, and things will go back to the same old, same old.

Kane is the only character who can draw up these wacky storylines the writers come up wiith. Lets not forget that Kane's character debuted as something along the lines of a soap opera/comic book character.
Within the last year, fans have been exposed to the psychological elements, the more human elements of Kanes character, so it is interesting to see where they are going with this current angle. I doubt it will be anything worthwhile though.

HOWEVER...wtf will a pregnancy angle do for either Lita, Hardy, or Kane?...sadly that is nothing. At least the Katie Vick angle had drama. Kane was accussed of murder, and at that time he was a face, so obviously the angle was used to portray him in a sympathetic light.

An interesting question would be if the Katie Vick angle was done now, instead of last year. Just something to think about for another post. Or could Katie Vick rise from the dead again? (the angle that is)

DISCUSSION: What does JINDRAK the wrestler and JINDRAK the poster have in common?

The REAL question is, after "Stand back"....

Is it "There's a Hurricane coming through!" or "There's a Hamburglar coming through!"

HELL FUCKING NO...This isn't meant to be a casual thread, so I would like it to stay more along the lines of a wrestling discussion.

Anyways, now that it is brought up. Sable=MILF, Terri=MILF...Those are definately two divas I would  to bang.

My top 5 hottest divas list-
1) Sable- As a 12 year old kid, I remember getting a hard on to Sable. Heck, even at 19, I still do. :)

2) Gail Kim- I'm into asian chicks, so needless to say, I think she is amazing.

3) Stacy Keibler- Thank goodness she didn't get the boob job. She has that sweet face, HOT legs, and nice body. Would definately love to see her do those dances she used to do in WCW.

4) Debra- She kind of had the hot older mature thing going for her. I believe she is currently 40+, and still looks amazing. I want PUPPIES!!!

5) Kimberly (Nitro Girl)- She looks like one of my favorite porn stars, Angelica Sin, so therefore she makes the list.

DaveWadding 06-27-2004 12:30 AM

So Moolah and Mae are your hidden fantasies?

Jesus, I asked you a simple question, not a 30 minute cooking tip.

Well, wrestling, the booking aspect of it, is something I am anamored over. Believe it or not, when I was 14 I wanted to be the head writer creating all the storylines a la Vinnie Ru.

What are you implying?

jindrak 06-27-2004 12:51 AM

Also, when I was 10 and got my first set of wrestling figures, I would create angles and storylines. Needless to say, its just a huge part of me.

FYI- The action figures I had at the time were the following- Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake, Ted DiBiase, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, and some others I am forgetting.

This is what I am implying- In the wrestling forum, we can have arguments where we disagree, or don't hold the same view. However, the disagreement won't cause you to type out insults that are normally reserved for casual. Get it?

Think back to the athleticism they diplayed as part of the Natural Born Thrillaz(or was it an s?)...its probably coming back to you now. Along with Mike Sanders on the mic, who Flair acknowledged as amazing on the mic, the NBT couldv'e saved the waning old WCW.

Think about it--->Jindrak, O'Haire, Sanders, Reno, and Stasiak were all YOUNG wrestlers, who had POTENTIAL, to develop into MAIN EVENTERS. Well, maybe not Stasiak, but definately the others.

In WCW, the NBT weren't treated as jobbers. NO. They were showcased as the FUTURE of WCW, products of the WCW Powerplant who would lead WCW against the WWE. TNBT has time to develop their skills, and even as a 'green' stable, they were great to watch. When watching the NBT, fans really felt they were seeing something special.

Its a shame that the careers of the NBT members have all dwindled into low card obscurity. :nono: A great what if question. Unfortunately, as in life, what if questions come with no real answer.

The Natural Born Thrillers had potential, as does Jindrak, but unfortunately that doesn't determine who is a jobber or not. Jindrak has been picking up so snug wins on Velocity, though (until Hardcore Holly came along). :y:

Before him standing on the floor is a tiny 6" tall brett hart figurine. Tucsonspeed6 reaches down and takes the tiny man in his hands and with a deep breath, sniffs the air around the toy.*

On the wrestling side of thngs again....
i got a feeling that a certain someone might cause someone else to have a miscarriage.

makes sense kinda, push Kane's psycho-heel side a little bit more and the WWE dont have to come through with a conclusion to the baby. As i'm guessing that Lita isn't pregnant outside of the angle.

And hey it's nice that someone wants to talk wrestling...you know...in the WRESTLING FORUM
