Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is terrible.
 

I've tried to watch it like fucking four times. This is the fourth right now and I just cannot sit through this shit. I keep telling myself, "maybe I just wasn't giving it a chance. Maybe I wasn't paying attention hard enough." But each time I try, I can never get through it. The movie is just really shitty to me. I don't understand this shit. Same thing with Snatch. I must have tried to watch that movie like ten times.

Part of it might be the whole not understanding a damn thing they are saying thing, but even with subtitles, still no dice at all.

I think Lock, Stock is ok, but Snatch is shit.

I thought everybody loved the movie BECAUSE you can't understand them. They talk different than we talk, that makes it funny.

Seriously though, I thought it was great the first time, but I find it harder and harder to sit through each additional time. How far do you actually get into the movie each time? It's a somewhat daunting to keep up with everything that's going on at first, but when it all ties in together and you see what's going on it gets pretty cool.

As far as not being able to understand them, if I can't understand the dialect of a movie I listen to it with headphones. I guess it helps me focus more on what they are saying or something, maybe you could give that a try. That is, if you really care about it that much :p

Yea, Snatch isn't so great.

Snatch and Lock, Stock are fucking brilliant.
But I understand that if u can't understand the language then you will have trouble following the movie.
Watch it with subtitles next time.

I liked it the first time I saw it. Haven't tried to watch it in a couple years though.

I agree with AareDub that the more you watch Lock Stock, the harder it gets each time to sit through it. But it's still a top movie. I don't know why people don't like Snatch though, Snatch is fucking great.

Both of them are way WAY overrated by some people (best British film ever? :wtf: ) but they ain't bad.

I loved Lock Stock. Also loved the spin off tv series on channel 4.

I thought Snatch was good.

Lock Stock on the other hand was pretty shit.
I kept hearing from friends about how great it was, so I borrowed it and watched it.
All through it I was thinking something good might happen.
But it didnt.
So at the end I was like :wtf:

Good flick, I seriously don't see the dialect in this movie being that difficult to understand where it would become unenjoyable.

Yeah Lock Stock's the shit. I juts looked for it online and I can't find it :| Snatch was pretty good but i fell asleep during it so I haven't seen all of it.
