Getting Backstage...
How many of you have been backstage at a WWE event? Be honest. And who do you know to get there?
|
They dont hire security for fun.

They GUARD the entrance to backstage.

You stupid fuck. He means they hire security to guard people like you, me and Goldbird from going backstage.
He doesn't mean that he's a security guard. :nono: |

They have a VIP pass or something. But they just don't let the average paying fan backstage.
But still, post #3 and #6 says your not very bright. |
lol, stop insulting each other. From what i know, unless you are a relative of the wrestler, or you are a potential investor, it will be quite impossibile to enter backstage.

my friend has been backstage at wrestlemania 18 cuz he works at skydome, he got to talk to hogan, spike dudley and the hurricane
|
Never been backstage, but I went in the ring after an event once when I was about 8.
|
I've been backstage twice (and I've only ever been to two WWE shows). Managed to do so through contacts in the business. I've also had a wrestling match in a WWE ring (wasn't that good but it doesn't matter) where Jamie Noble, Nidia and Charlie Haas were watching.

**sniffs** **smells bullshit**

I was willing to believe you up until you said: Managed to do so through contacts in the business. I've also had a wrestling match in a WWE ring (wasn't that good but it doesn't matter) where Jamie Noble, Nidia and Charlie Haas were watching |
Kieron Dyer's done it.
|
^^^I saw kieron dyer go backstage to meet john cena and eddie guerrero and torrie when i was watching this football diaries thing on BBC, what a lucky fuck. I remember torrie couldn't speak cos of a saw throat or something, lol
|
The closest thing to getting backstage when your just a fan is to take backstage tours... I dunno about anywhere else, and Ive never taken one, but they had a backstage tour of MSG on the day of WrestleMania XX... I should have gone, the tix were like $30 for a 1-2 hour tour... I dunno how much you'd see, but it said you'd go in locker rooms and stuff...

My brother's friend's dad (stick with me here) is a limo driver, and he used to drive around The Undertaker everytime he came to Toronto for an event. So one time after a house show, he took me to the back and I shook Taker's hand. It was quite memorable for me, but this happened like 8 years ago so I was awestruck.

Message to Goldbird: BAWK!

WWE did a house show in Saginaw, MI during the InVasion, and at the time, I was editor-in-chief of one of the local college newspapers. I figure, hey, it's not a big city, and we are pretty respected in the community. I got run around so much in the weeks leading up to the show, it was ridiculous. Fortunately, I got tickets, so I got to see the show, but I never got close to making contact with anyone who directly knew anything about getting approved media passes. |

Fine... you and TheOneLameGunn don't believe me, but what I've said is true. I may not be that good a wrestler, but I've had the opportunity to practise in the ring because my wrestling teacher can get tickets to house events because he wants to visit his friends who work for the WWE. I haven't bothered to go into much detail on here because of lame comments about how people won't believe me, but what I've said is true!! Another time I'll post exactly who I've met and spoken to |
I don't think Cruiserweight 3:16 is lying about having a practise match in the ring because he mentioned something similar earlier when he was saying about how he can get free tickets for Raw when they film it in the UK. He might be completely lying but it all sounds pretty genuine to me.

Proof?? Wot like I'm supposed to take pictures of me being backstage as evidence to prove to you? Me being backstage is a favour and a priveledge and I'm not gonna start acting like a mark by taking pictures of everyone I speak to. That puts me and others in an awkwad position. Fine don't believe me, but I've experienced something which you will never do in your life!!

There's so much more stuff that happened when I was backstage which nobody would believe even if I said, so I'm not gonna bother going into any more details. If you think me taking pictures of people that are being polite to me when all they wanna do is relax before the fans arrive then you really don't have a clue. |
^^
I read another one of your posts about meting wrestlers backstage and it was explained a little better and was way more plauseable, so in retrospect I now believe you :y: |
^^
Thanks - I appreciate you saying that :y: |

ME: "Jericho! Don't eat that egg sandwich! It's full of cholesterol and will give you heart disease!" Or what if you go to one of those state police auctions and buy yourself a used cop car, buy yourself some cherries and some decals for the sides, send the WWE an email with some attached photos, they might consider you when they need to rent a cop car lookalike for an angle: ie, Eddie Guerrero getting handcuffed and put in a cop car that drives away. You can get backstage, they'll probably let you take a private tour if you ask, and you'll probably be the one to drive the car (for insurance reasons.) Hmm... :shifty: Seriously, though, I've heard of guys renting out cop car lookalikes (from their car collections) and getting to meet the wrestlers because of it. The only other option would probably be to become a regionally famous poodle breeder and lending the WWE your poodle for Rene to use....but if you did that, you'd only get to go backstage to a Smackdown event. Blech! Personally, I think I'd feed my dog a big bowl of beans before the show so it'd take a big crap in the ring. It'd be like the dog were saying "This is what I think of your crappy wrestling."....and then the Undertaker would hit the dog with lightning. :shifty: |
