What ever happened to Eric Angle?
 

It seemed as though a few years ago the then WWF was interested in him. They hinted and taunted him as becoming a wrestler on several occasions. I thought that around WM XIX time Eric was finally going to wrestle, but that never did happen.

What happened?

Last I heard he was training in OVW, I beleive but I'm not 100% sure that he was released from there a bit ago.

Yeah, he got released. They thought he'd pick up rather quickly, seeing as Kurt picked up quicker than almost anyone and he failed to meet even the lowest expectations of him. So around the time they went on their mass releasing spree a year (I think that's how long ago it was) back, he was released.

I think he should form a tag team with David Flair... :shifty:
