Da Ali G Show is hilarious
 

New season is on HBO now and you can DL all the first season shit off Kazaa.

Borat is ROFL and so is Ali G. The other fashion guy, Bruno wasn't that funny until he suddenly decided to be gay cause it was the "in" thing. Then it was rofl.

He was pretty funny on Conan and Letterman, but I don't get HBO and I can't stand Kazaa. :-\

He used to be on this show over here back in 1998, the 11 O'Clock show, which was overall one of my favourites ever when it was at its peak. It kind of went downhill after Ali G and others left to make their own shows.

But anyway, Ali G has been around a long time, and the gimmick kind of died for me after he got his own show here, because then he got really big and he couldn't surprise famous people any more with his questions. Plus, millions of assholes started copying the catchphrases and all that.

The last series in the US was excellent. Good to see him fresh again in a new country, where he can surprise his guests again.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Wouldn't people know that he is just messing with them by acting stupid? OH WELL, stupid US.

They didn't know at the start, because what they did was they set it up so Ali G was this presenter of a "youth" TV show, so he'd interview politicians and other upright people, and he'd talk like an idiot, but they'd kind of put up with it because they thought this was how young people acted in this day and age. It was something like that.

Same with Borat. He'd say stupid stuff, but the people would try to put up with it because they thought he was a stupid foreigner.

As my interest with Ali G sort of declined, he brought Borat to the table who was just as funny.

I used to watch the 11 o'clock show/not the 11 o'clock show so I guess I was kind of like ECG when his popularity exploded over here. I've still got some of them on VHS. The time he went to Northern Ireland was funny.

LOL it's fucking GREAT. When Borat goes to the wine tasting thing, I was roflin all over the place. Borat on Conan was one of the funniest bits I've seen in a long time.

Ali G is that guy that was in the Madonna Music Video right?

Ali G is well good, well better than all this Bo Selecta shit that is being put on nowadays. That fella he plays from Kazakhstan is hilarious.

Borat is one of the funniest characters in a long time.
The part where he sings the Kazakstan National Anthem before the baseball match is pure comedy gold.

To say it again won't hurt but Borat is excellent.

Bowler: "This is the gents.."

Borat: (referring to basin) "Can you...,er...do a durrt?"

Bowler: No..No.No...No way.

Borat: "BUY WHAY?"


And he then goes over to someone's jacket in the changing room and takes a note from the pocket.

Bowler: You cant do that here.

Borat: But..I . I Like to find out about them...

The part when he goes to Police Academy was terrible. If I was one of those cops I would've told him to shut the fuck up. On the other hand, the dating service bit was gold.

The movie wasn't proper Ali G though. The show was much better because of the guests and characters like Borat

Anyone watch last night? LMAO at some parts.

Like when he's talking to those politcal people abour Arnold S (Yeah, I'm not trying to spell that) and they say he really is the govenor. And he's like "no no, you must be confused, he played a govenor in a movie once, but he's not a real govenor. I used to think he was really the Terminator once, but it was just a movie." ROFL

And that fashion guy comparing Peter Jackson's look at the award show to 9/11.

Have yet to see this. But the place I work just got this to rent (first season I assume, or maybe some Best Of DVD) so I'll check it out soon.

Nah, I am so pissed that I missed last season. I had no idea that this show was comedy. I thought it was like a talk show talking seriously about issues. I'm going to have to buy the 1st season on DVD if it's out.

Yeah buy the DVD. I got it like two weeks ago. I think it officially comes out Tuesday though.
