OMG this is one of the craziest movies I have ever seen. I just came back from seeing it at an arthouse theater here and I am blown away. Might be the most FUCKED UP movie I have ever seen.

Plot: A lonely man whose wife passed away has a plan to find a new wife. He works in the film industry, so he holds a fake audition for a movie so that he can find a new wife out of the girls that come. He spots one young girl and immediately falls in love with her. However, he is warned there there is something suspicious about her and is unaware of her really messed up past.

This movie is seriously like HOLY SHIT. A bunch of people walked out of the theater during the final scene. I don't want to spoil anything, but it's one of the most disturbing movies ever. Such a mindfuck.

It's from 2000 and is available on DVD here in the US. Watch it, trust me.

Definitely worth a buy. I would buy it except it's already on hold at the library, so I will just burn it.

Plus I doubt you will find it at Blockbuster or anywhere for rent really.

Gotta love Takeshi Miike. Him and Takeshi "Beat" Kitano are doing a movie called IZO, which is apparently their answer to Kill Bill. Apparently they thought it wasn't violent enough.

Saw it on C4 a few months ago.

And it is excellent. It might start off a bit slow (in your point of view), but it's well worth it. I thought it was great all around though. The movie just turns into a huge mindfuck. I love it.

It is an unbelievably fucked up film. It was being shown here on C4 as part of a horror season last Halloween I think, I was expecting something like Ringu, but Jesus Christ :|

Loved it. Sooo amazingly fucked up and what's great is it's built up slowly. Hell the first half if not more is almost a cute love story then wham everything gets fucled up six ways from Sunday. It's fantastic.

At the end, she drugged him and strapped the guy down and cut off his ankle with cheese wire or something? And stuck needles and shit in him? But then he woke up and it was a dream or something or other?

Didn't he (spoilers)<font color=black>get drugged to make him paralysed? I thought when he was dreaming about going down on the 3 girls, I think (was it Asami? I wasn't good with their names) was making him realsie that she wasn't the only girl in his life, which is what she kept asking him. The freakiest bit I thought was when when that guy with half a tongue and blindfolded came out of the bag to drink his own vomit</font>

Picked this up yesterday in a 2 for £20 sale along with Scarface :cool: Would've gotten Ichi the Killer in another store but they wanted £25 for the SE :|

Yeah like some of it is and some of it isn't. Up to you to interpret I guess although I think the director said what was and what wasn't. All the torture stuff really happened though.

I liked how the kid just walked in and said "what happened"
