Does any one here have a ps2 hdloader? I got one about 2 weeks ago and I love it I have about 10 games on it and they all load about 2 times as fast.

I don't have one, but I have heard about them.

what other things can they do, or is that it?

It more or less lets you put the games on a hard drive(up to 120gb) so you do not need the cd any more.
Some people could use this to rent then copy games.
The games load a lot faster like gta:vc takes 24 sec for the 1st load screen and when you go in and out of buildings its a lot faster.
It’s also nice that you don’t have to keep changing cd’s.
There are about 15 games that do not work with it but most of them are not that good anyway. Also you can not play the games from the hard drive online

you can buy them right on ebay and it only takes 1 min to install

games like grand turismo 3 and psi-ops have almost no loading times with it to

The best bit about Psi-Ops is the loading times.

Do you need a mod chip or anything to use this? I've been planning a big mod for my ps2 that would do the same thing as this. It could really save me some trouble if it works on an un-modded ps2.

you dont have to mod the ps2

you do not need a mod chip but you need the network card

if all it does it increase loading times, hell, i'd save my money and wait for the game to load.

The fact that you can rent game and copy them os a money saving tool for somepeople :P

yeah but it would be wrong to say sing up for blockbusters flip it and rent a game every day. no one would do that :shifty:

No one would save their money and download ps2 games either :shifty:
