WWE To Put Out 39 PPVs Per Year?

LOL, looks like this might be for real soon enough :nono:
|
Whats the fucking source?
13 PPVs a year? Wouldnt it be 12 (twelve months in a year) and what about the joint PPVs, the big 4.... Rumble, Mania, Summer and Survivor? This doesnt seem right...... But I would love for a third brand to come along. Even though I half heartedly watch RAW anymore and dont even pay attention to Smackdown. If there is a third brand... ALL 3 SHOWS SHOULD BE LIVE ON WHATEVER NETWORK IT IS BROADCASTED ON. I'm sick and tired of these taped shitty shows where nothing exciting happens and if anything does... its reported on the internet and I would rather read it ahead of time and not watch the program. Plus maybe one of the shows could have some actual fucking wrestling on it, just like WCW. Times like this make me wish WCW and (no doubt) ECW were still around. I can still hear the chants from SOUTH PHILADELPHIA...... "E" "C" "W" ... "E" "C" "W" ... |

LOL. Don't these people know that Jabba has been making these jokes since the Rollup Ban?
Jesus, fuckers, read between the lines! |
About damn time...you know I always say to myself, "I don't get to pay for wrestling enough...I iwsh somebody would come along and find someway to get me to give them more money!" :)
|
It'd be funnier if it didn't look like it was coming true, slowly but surely.
|
39?.. well why the hell not???
TNA already runs 52 a year. |

The brand-split idea is brilliant in theory because once the next wrestling boom occurs, WWE would be able to sell more PPV's, thus generating more revenue.
IMO, ECW should not be returned in a bastardized state. If anything else, WWE should create a new promotion based around the concept of ECW. Or have the new promotion be somewhat of an OVW for newly developed talent. Brock Lesner, Randy Orton, John Cena, among others, were all-apart of OVW before they were launched into the WWE spotlight. Have this new promotion be just that. A pre-launching ground for new talent that will eventually make its way to either Raw or Smackdown. The promotion will be a minor league of sorts, but under the guise of an ECW concept. :y: |
If this is true, it's a sign of desperation and it will fail.

Sky's contract ends in Summer 2005 and as of then there are talks of making every PPV a pay per view and not free. so 39 PPV's times £14.99 per month = Bankrupt |
'There's some bumps in my arsenal that only Pat Patterson knows about'.
|
The same applies to TPWW. I'm the "unknown worker" to Funky Fly's Pat Patterson. :shifty:

Former head of talent relation, Jim Ross, is said to the main voice behind the proposal to increase the number of PPVs, believing that 'More PPVs mean more cash'
REALLY  |

JR doesn't seem all that bright, on camera or off. |

This ain't exactly believable. :D |
I was looking through some of my old fake news articles, and this one is getting pretty close to reality.
ECW replacing Velocity. More PPVs. More Diva segments. How long will it take for WWE to reach 39 PPVs per year? |
Never.
Unless wrestlings hit a huge boom.. I mean huge. At least twice as big as the Attitude days... Then, in theory, if they could make every brand totally stand alone, each one could run a ppv a month. Along with that, they could have 3 or 4 super shows (WM and Summerslam for interpromotional dream matches, King of the Ring for a nice one night tournament between brands, and a Royale Rumble) That would give 40 ppvs a year. It'll never happen, but if it did, that's how it would. |
And Sensei of Mattitude correctly predicted the ECW thing. Neato.
|
lollllll we ran off Sensai of Mattitude by calling him an unrealistic retard. :shifty:
|
lol, yeah, I was reading the ECW and Heat/Velocity parts and getting nervous.
