Cleaning computer monitor/screen

Whats the best way to clean your computer monitor/screen? Doesn't matter if i have to go out and buy some special product or use items that i can use at home. Just wondering what the best way to clean a computer screen/monitor is?

The best way to clean a screen is with anti-static wipes, you can buy em, they aren't that expensive, or use a window cleaner (windex or whatever you americans call it) and dry it off with a lint free cloth.
If it's a TFT, then Definately follow the manufacturers instructions... I've seen them ruined by people cleaning them wrong.

Windex should not be used for cleaning your computer screen. You can use soap and water, and a clean rag should do the trick.

Make sure your monitor is turned off, and check your owners manual as it might provide some specific instructions.

I've used windex for years and it works fine.
