Sable released from WWE
 

As rumored in the past few weeks, WWE.com made the news official today when Reno Mero, known to wrestling fans as Sable, was officially given her release by the company.

Although it isn't known when she was given her release, many feel it happened at some point during this week as she was pulled from all SmackDown brand House Shows this past weekend. There was also talk backstage at the SmackDown tapings today in Detroit, Michigan among many that she was officially given her release as well. Many feel recent comments by Mero in an interview with FortWayne.com may have contributed to her quick release as she was very critical of the company and how they were using her.

Upon her return to the company last year in March of 2003, Mero had signed a three-year deal with the company. Many were shocked to even see her make a return as she had sued the then-WWF when she made her departure in 1999. Mero is reportedly engaged to former WWE star & current NFL hopeful Brock Lesnar at this time.
