The WWE and La Resistance
 

I am a tad bit confused on to what the WWE thinks it is going to get out of pushing La Resistance as Canadians.

WWE has La Resistance presenting them selves now as Canadians which is quite akward due to the fact that they are being pushed as French Canadians.

First of all it doesent matter if you "French/Libyan" "French/Algerian" "French/Canadian" American crowds are going to booo and hisss till the cows come home simply because you have French blood or speak French (Thank you George W. Bush)

Secondly if your French/Canadian and your infront of a Canadian crowd your going to get booo'ed, hisssseed, and have crap thrown at you.

What I am getting from the WWE is that they are trying to push La Resistance as Canadians, what the WWE might not understand is that La Resistance is going to be not only hated in America but is going to be despised in Canada in but Quebec.

If I remember correctly, La Res won the tag titles in Quebec, and received quite a pop from the crowd afterwards.

However, they are being pushed as heels, and singing an anthem in very poor quality is going to make the crowd hate you, no matter where you are from. Being French doesn't help, but the thing that they hate the most is when the heels are really annoying.

They were huge in Quebec, when they won the title from benoit and Edge (and they are canadians too (obviosuly)).

but still, in saying that, i dont exactly understand the last few words of ur post so i'm not sure if u were stating that or not

Well the French Canadian Gimmick is better than the 'LetsGetHeatByUsingTheWayTheFrenchRebelledAgainstTheWarInIraqGimmick' that shit got old fast.

Maybe they figured with the large number of Canadians on the roster they could play off La Res as heels even when they are in Canada. I dont see any problem with it.
