Any thoughts about this....

Most backstage believe that Randy Orton will defeat Chris Benoit at SummerSlam and capture the World Title. This defeat will then turn him face, which will lead to him leaving Evolution. It seems that WWE is already planning for a Orton vs. Triple H World Title match at WrestleMania 21, but the rumored plan is to have Triple H be the face in that match.

There is a possibility that Edge will turn heel and be involved in Orton’s face turn. After SummerSlam, WWE is considering having Edge feud with Chris Benoit. There have been various rumors going around saying that WWE may put Edge in Evolution once Orton is gone from the group.

I cant see Edge in Evolution, it just doesnt look or sound right! I am all for Evolution evolving, but with Randy as the main man and a group of younger guys(much like the Natural Born Thrillas but without Nash's involvement)

There is so much the WWE could do with the "Orton chases the gold" storyline, but they will probably cock it up, so I won't be shocked if "The legend killer" walks out of summerslam as champ

I don't think he'd gel well in Evolution either, BUT he's not doing anything now. A heel turn is what he needs, and it might take joining HHH to really put him over. While I don't like Edge in Evolution, I think it could be the thing that gets him rollin'.

I prefered Edge when he was a mute who lurked in the crowd

Edge said that he was going to take down Evolution, but now he is going to join them? Most people probably already forgot about it though, and WWE can just make up some excuse as to why he joined them. I think Edge would be an okay fit in Evolution, he seems charismatic enough to get the job done.

Hehe...would be funny if Christian would join Evolution 2... :shifty:

The fact taht it makes absolutely no sense is the best indicator that the WWE is actually planning this.

The WWE has lost all capacity for creativity or innovation. What they once could have acheived through clever storylines is now acheived only by throwing random shit out that makes no sense.

I can't see Edge joining Evolution either . But if he does I will give him a chance. He'll need a huge makeover and a short haircut

I dunno about Edge being in Evolution either. But the story was that HHH wanted Edge on RAW when he came back, so this might be a way for those two to work together.

And it seems they are gonna just test Orton as a face? Orton turns face after SummerSlam, and with 7 months until WrestleMania, he's gonna turn back heel.

Yeah but the only reason he would have to cut his hair is so that Trips can look unique in the group :cool:

So is Christian the old hasbeen or the guy sleeping with the boss' daughter?

I mean that Team Christian will take over after a dying Evolution fades away. THis is more of a hunch than a legitimate prediction, so when I say "mark my words" I'm leaning towards people forgetting that I mentioned it so if I'm wrong they won't say anything.

I don't think Edge would fit in but it is completly illogical. So that probably means the WWE will do it.

Orton as a main eventer, Edge in evolution! What are the writing team smoking. This might be unpopular but I think that a younger guy in evolution maybe maven would be a better fit. I just don't get orton as a main eventer either surely there are better guys for that spot. As a fan of RVD I can't help but fell (even though he isn't on Raw anymore) that should have been his spot.
