OK of these teams who would you bet on to win the superbowl

none are favs so don't tell me to bet on New England cause they're not gonna pay me anything

Minnesota 20:1
Baltimore 14:1
Washington 16:1
Green Bay 20:1
New Orleans 35:1
Arizona 150:1 :shifty:

im gonna bet 100 bucks on one of these teams. which would you pick of them?

BCWWF 08-13-2004 05:44 PM

Hmm, out of those, it would either have to be Baltimore or Minnesota, but I don't think Minnesota will avoid choking, so I would go with the Ravens.

Supreme Olajuwon 08-13-2004 05:54 PM

Green Bay or Baltimore

prolly Green Bay since it has the bigger payoff

el fregadero 08-13-2004 06:02 PM

Either Washington or Green Bay. Probably Washington, though.

road doggy dogg 08-13-2004 06:04 PM

Green Bay or Baltimore

BCWWF 08-13-2004 06:06 PM

Brett Favre is done, Green Bay has about the chance of Arizona now that the Vikes have a good team

Supreme Olajuwon 08-13-2004 06:12 PM

they also had a good team when they lost 41-0 to the Giants

BCWWF 08-13-2004 06:14 PM

Thats because the Giants tapped into our headsets and knew our plays

AareDub 08-13-2004 06:21 PM

Green Bay

#1-norm-fan 08-13-2004 06:23 PM

I would say Baltimore but Jamal Lewis aparently won't be playing after week 8. That's when his trial starts and Billick says he won't be playing during the trial.

I would say Green Bay simply because of the "Super Bowl or bust" comment AND because I am gay for Favre... but then I don't know if a Mike Sherman coached team can win a Super Bowl.

All the other ones I just don't see winning for various reasons.

From that list, your best bet is probably Green Bay.

DaveWadding 08-13-2004 06:23 PM

Green Bay.

MoRcHeEbA 08-13-2004 06:55 PM

I was leaning more towards Minnesota as my first choice, although I do like New Orleans and Carolina was a 60:1 superbowl champ last year and they almost did it. so I DUNNO.

Took 08-13-2004 07:05 PM

What are the Giants chances? Give me an odd please.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-13-2004 07:28 PM

You are just gonna waste 100 dollars anyways, none of those teams are gonna win the championship.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-13-2004 07:29 PM

BTW I can't decide between Green Bay or New Orleans on who I would bet on.

Guest #1 08-13-2004 07:31 PM

New Orleans, I like the diversity of their O. and their D is become much stronger than it was in seasons past. Also, pays out better too so what the...

im sure someone said that to someone who bet on carolina last year and they came within a minute of winning.

BCWWF 08-13-2004 07:58 PM

New Orleans could be a good darkhorse pick

Yea but that person was still right because they still lost

I would just wait until a team makes the Superbowl then bet from there, like when the Patriots where 14 point underdogs againest the Rams

Gertner 08-13-2004 08:01 PM

minny, because with the refs enforcing the 5 yard rule, moss should have a great year, plus bennett is healthy

If Jamal Lewis doesn't play the second half of the season, they have no chance.

FearedSanctity 08-18-2004 08:35 PM

What did it say Denver's odds are?

YOUR Hero 08-18-2004 09:29 PM

OssMan 08-19-2004 01:29 AM

Minnesota

Rob 08-19-2004 06:25 AM

Put the 100 on Brock Lesnar being the first guy to kill someone on the field.

Supreme Olajuwon 08-19-2004 01:51 PM

Brock Lesnar will never get into a game let alone get the opportunity to hit someone

Who said anything about him playing?

Supreme Olajuwon 08-19-2004 02:15 PM

Well I doubt he'll even make the team so he will never get the chance to be anywhere on the sidelines either

He comes from pro wrestling. He can easy run out of the crowd or come out of a helicopter or some mental sh</>it. ;)

Supreme Olajuwon 08-19-2004 05:59 PM

I just think its funny when people think Brock really is a monster. He's slow and average size for a DE and considering he'd be going up against guys like Jonathan Ogden who is 6'9" 345 lbs he would just get owned

Actually running a 4.9 40m sprint at 320lbs is pretty damn fast. You do realise he was a professional fighter and national champion before pro wrestling right? Plus I don't think he is playing DE anymore.

Yeah if you run a 4.9 40 when you're 320 then that is fast but when you run a 4.9 40 and you're 285 like Brock is then thats pretty slow.

Also fighting has absolutely nothing to do with football. Technique is key and I doubt he has that right now.

And yeah he moved to defensive tackle

'Superstar' Mike Morris had an update on Brock Lesnar today on his morning show on KFAN in Minnesota. He said that Brock had just arrived in Arizona to get started training for his NFL tryouts. He said he weighed in at 283 lbs, ran a 4.65 40, had a vertical jump of 35 inches, a standing long jump of 10 feet, and was able to bench 225 lbs at 30 reps.

According to him these are standard tests that NFL teams do and he said that Brock expects to do a lot better at the end of his 6 week training period since he hasn't been working out much lately.
4.65 at 283? Pretty impressive

Supreme Olajuwon 08-20-2004 02:39 AM

hmm thats not bad at all. Itd be pretty funny if he actually made a Pro Bowl or two in his career. Actually it wouldn't be that funny considering what a horrible person he is.
