Ok, I figured I would make this thread since nobody else has. You can post here to discuss the upcoming women's wrestling game for PS2, Rumble Roses. Here's a place to go for some info-http://www.konamityo.com/rumbleroses/. It's in japanese, but there's enough english to make the site navigable. It also has a couple of gameplay trailers, so you can actually see what the game will look like. Even if you don't plan on getting the game, what do you think of the entire "idea" behind it? Will Joe Lieberman's Soccer Mom Squad single it out as a Source Of All Eviltm when it's released? Will people even care? Get discussing!

Actually I thought that was kind of silly to put into the game. Either way, the game actually does not look that bad. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. I think I'll be renting it first before buying though.

I don't think it's going to get any heat from any type of organization. DOA beach volleyball flew under the radar, so I expect this to also. Besides, they should actaully support it since it features strong female characters. :shifty:

If the fighting engines any good, I'll buy it :D

According to gamespot, the release date's been pushed up by 2 weeks, & the price has dropped by $10 (now it's $40) :D

From the looks of things, it looks like it has the Smackdown: HCTP engine... but moves that look they belong in the WCW Cruiserweight division. Sounds like it'll be a quality game, eye candy or no.

So this is kinda to Smackdown games as Def jam is to No Mercy?

Sounds pretty cool if that's the case. However, I think I'll be skipping over this one. There are too many other awesome games coming out, I'll probably miss a lot of potentially good games this season because of that.

This game reminds me so much of Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball

I like this season cuz all of the good games are getting pushed up on their release dates, nobody wants to compete with Halo 2 on Nov. 9th. LOL :lol:

I have been wanting to play this game sicne I heard about it. I think this will be a good games. All the videos that I have seen look good and it looks like all moves are done perfectly. I just hope it doesnt flop like The Legends of Wrestling games did.

The video looks decent. The moves are exaggerated versions of real stuff, kinda like Saturday Night Slam Masters only 3D... and with tits.

I hope the gameplay's as good as Slam Master's, I played that to death....
