What is this new genre of music...
 
I mean, the fact that bands like Jet, Franz Ferdinand, and most of the bands with "The" as the first word are slowly replacing the nu-metal crap doesn't make me that mad, but what kind of music is it? Retro-rock?

Yeah, I guess. Some of it (particularly The Strokes' first single) is basically 70s rock. I don't know what to call it.
