No, they don't.

The only way you can make it play import games from Japan is with a mod-chip, which kinda involves some soldering ;)

Err.. curious. Aren't playstations imported from Japan, even if they are English versions?

I'm not much of an expert on consoles..

yes thay do i found out, if i play them on my computer screen. change screen to PAL setting

No they don't and that doesn't even make sence since Japan uses NTSC as well
