Jericho Question
 

Can anybody tell me why Jericho cares about the Intercontinental Title? I mean, he's already been the Undisputed Champion......it seems to me that he did everything he needed to do for the IC Belt almost four years ago.

And I guess this kinda begs the question, what should the WWE do with the Ayatolla of Rock-and-Rolla?

Because a certain someone doesn't want him to get the World title.

They should move him to smackdown in a trade for John Cena and go into the main event for the WWE title

Personaly I dont mind him going for the I.C. title. I would rather Batista won it but hey to bad i guess. But back on subject Jericho would be a good credible champ and it would be a good chance to show that he can draw and perform at the top of the card.

Ultimately Jericho should be maineventing we all know that but a good stint with the I.C. Title could move him right into contention when HHH get his belt back.

And the last reason I am happy with it is that it keep Orton and Jericho seperate. I seriously beleive that Orton vs Jericho could realy bring WWE into some good buyrates if done right but I would much rather Orton got established as a champ first.

No doubt it would be good. But with Orton coming into his own now both in ring and on the mic, once he has done a few months as champ he should have realy stepped it up. then the promos and matches should be absolutely awesome.

We all know Jericho is awesome on the mic and more than competent in ring. Well if Orton can consolodate his role on Raw as a top guy then play of it, it realy could be a feud for the ages. Weather it be a face vs heel or face vs face feud.

jericho with the IC belt would be good, let him hold it for a while then start mouthing off at orton/hhh (which ever one has the title at time) about how he should be the #1 contender as he is after all the IC champ and deserves his shot at title.

then have him battle for the title, no doubt he'd be shit on like he has been throughout his wwe career and be forced to loose but hey at least it gets him back up there again!

If you asked me last year this time this same question, I'd be thanking the stars that the bookers are actually considering giving him A title. For a while there he was jobbing so bad I wouldn't have even considered him an upper-midcarder... Just be greatful that he is moving in an upward direction rather than down to the opener on Heat.

Exactly. At least Jericho is going for a title instead of being stuck on Heat. If it were me, I'd set the IC title match between Edge and Jericho the Raw after Unforgiven. Jericho wins the belt via submission in a classic match between them. Jericho holds it for a while, and over time, develop this sort of off again on again fued between Orton and Jericho. They're not directly fueding with each other, but there's tension between them.

Then, Orton decides to really kick it into high gear by costing Jericho the belt in a title match against someone. Say, for example, Matt Hardy(if this crap-tacular Kane fued is over before then). Jericho and Orton wrestle for the belt in an amazing match that brings the house down. Orton retains, but at the same time, they develop a mutual respect. Sure, that will never happen, but oh well.
