1. Tupac (How could you not?)
2. Biggie (Might be a touch high, IMO, then again, I never had a real affinity for Biggie)
3. Eminem (Just NO!)
4. Nas (maybe a little high, def. should not be higher than Jay)
5. Jay-Z (Slightly low..3 or 4)
6. Rakim (Haven't heard much Rakim...what can I say)
7. Dr. Dre (He's def. top 22..but 7?! FUCK NO. This is for MCs, shouldnt factor in producer merits)
8. Lil Kim (YOU'RE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!! They even went as far as to call her "the female Biggie" and "the Madonna of rap" on the show. PLEASE)
9. Beastie Boys (Gotta agree here)
10. Missy Elliot (They put Missy LOWER THAN LIL KIM :mad: )
11. Big Pun (don't wanna be a playa no mooooo...how can you hate that? Maybe high)
12 Nelly (DEF. too high, I love Cornell, but 12? no.)
13 DMX (X is good, but there are some people on this list he should not be higher than)
14 Run-DMC (like these guys. DMC is way too low)
15. KRS-ONE (see: Rakim)
16. Snoop Dogg (flip-flop him and Dre.)
17. Common (If you're gonna put someone "underground" on this list...I wouldn't pick Common. Kweli, Mos Def, Gift of Gab, Black Thought, Will.I.Am...where are they?)
18. Foxy Brown (meh.)
19. LL Cool J (Low! LL has LONGEVITY! that counts for something)
20. Queen Latifah (maybe she's a shadow of herself now, but...)
21. Method Man (a lot of people love the WUUUUUUUU TANGGGGGGG, me, not so much.)
22. Chuck D (LOW!!!!!! Public Enemy are def. one of the best acts ever. FIGHT THE POWER!)


Some room for discussion here... this was supposively voted on "by the people" but this looks like one of those no risk "well, no shit" MTV/magazine style type lists... (My thoughts in parenthesis)

Rakim should be at least number 3. Nas is better than Jay-Z. Eminem is a little high on the list but he deserves to be top 22. Nelly is garbage. Lil' Kim sucks, so does Missy Elliot. Run DMC and KRS-One should be AT LEAST top 10. Foxy Brown sucks. Where is Mos Def and Talib Kweli? WHERE THE FUCK IS Q-TIP????????? Outkast?

That is exactly whhat I was thinking except for the eminem part. I was about to go into a huge rant, then I saw "MTV" and was like nah, fuck it.

here' the prob i have with it. Snoop's way too low, Big and Dre put out 2 fucking albums! 2! If I were a baseball player and played 2 seasons, but in those two seasons i was amazing, i wouldn't be even considered to be around the best of all time, so how do they get that high?

There's also Dre's work in NWA, not to mention all the top notch producing he's done throughout the years. Also, Dre has released 3 albums.

The simple fact that Black Star are not mentioned makes that list null and void...
