Ring ability: 10 (His mastery of Suplexes and making Judo Based Offense, Entertaining)
Overness: 8.6 (A God in ECW, and besides being a Joke in WWE, he was still over with the crowds outside thoses under the influence of ECW) Workrate: 8.4 (He puts on Great Matches) Mic Work: 9.4 (His Mic Work Was Pure Gold) Finisher: 8.5 (He Made what may appear to be a cheap Sleeper Hold, into the most feared move in ECW History) Overall: 8.9 |

He WAS the ECW for a long, long time. Back when I was first introduced to the ECW, it was boring as hell to watch for me (lots of spot-fest gimmick matches) and then Taz came out, put on the kajihatime on Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow falls back through the ring with Taz on his back, then next thing you know Bigelow is tapping. Holy sh*t! I also loved the fact that he had about 20 suplexes in his arsenal. He was utter sh*t in WWF. |

8.5 - In his prime one of the best. He would get a higher rating had it not been for his WWE run. Remember when JR instantly degraded the Tazz mission when he made his debut. AFter putting it on Angle and Angle passed out JR said "it's just a sleeper hold". Way to put over the new guy.

I would have given him a ten if it wasn't for his WWE run. The only reason he didn't get an 8.0 was for ending Kurt Angle's winning streek, and for the markout moment with the Dudley's Bubba "Hey Tazz, remember this? Beat me if you can. Taz: " Survive..... If I let you." Also, his T-bone suplex through the ramp to Bam Bam at Heatwave 98 was awesome. Another great Taz moment. In ECW, he was wrestling Chris Candido. Chris put him on the top rope to set him up for "The Blonde Bombshell." He turns his back to Taz to taunt, and while Chris is taunting, Taz does the cut throat taunt. The crowd erupts, and Taz locks on the kate-ha-jime while sitting on the top rope... Nice. |
