Thornton happy in Boston, denies trade demands
http://www.thefourthperiod.com/bos59.html
Last week in Montreal, for the first time since the rumors surfaced, Thornton denied that he had demanded a trade and wanted out of Boston. "None of that's true," he said. "I'm happy in Boston. I love playing hockey for those fans and love the city." Thornton said that the rumors might have been a result of him publicly saying that he wants management to be more active and Thornton still reiterated those feelings but said that doesn't mean he wants out. "I mean, I was just saying what I think every player feels on every team and that is that they want to play on a team that has a chance to win, but I never said I wanted out," he explained. "I'd still like to see a certain number 27 back on my wing and maybe a few other big-time players," he said with a smile. :) The #27 he's talking about is Kovalev, btw. :shifty: |
sure he can say that now when there won't even be a Bruins next year
Yash, weren't you lynching Thorton not so long ago?
just jump off the sinking ship while you still can Thornton.
have fun when he's taking up 7 million on their payroll when there's a 31 million dollar cap :)
yash...you're the biggest bandwagoner i've had the displesure of talking with outside of toronto
He does live in Boston
near boston
it's not really bandwagoning. If it's with us, he's my favorite if he's against us, he can fu</>ck off. That's how it goes I'm sure if Bertuzzi said he hates being in Vancouver, you'd be first in line to tell him to leave. |
I would be ;)
I hear Damon wants out of Boston, says he hates the stupid accent of the people.
