What is this Taboo Tuesday crap?

What is it?

DaveWadding 09-15-2004 03:23 AM

its a PPV on Tuesday...therefore, Taboo.

Let me also help out it's the first interactive ppv. From what I heard you get to pick the stipulations for the matches by computer and you get to pick who Triple H'S jobber............. I mean opponent will be.

Well if that means, someone get's to have a decent ammount of Offense and a 10-15 Minute Title Match...before jobbing, I select Stevie!

No. This is a very cheap ploy by the WWE to discredit the internet fans. The fans will vote, and then they'll put the winner in a shitfest of a buildup with HHH. Then HHH will squash them after no selling three finishing moves. Then Vince will say that internet fans don't know anything, as they picked a main even with a horrible buyrate (due to the crappy buildup).

So look out! It's a trap!!! (/Ackbar)

In that case...Push for HBK....Grr, We're at a lose/lose situlation... :wavesad:

It's a rigged poll to name a number one jobber for Triple H to beat up. Voting begins when the PPV starts (from what I've read so far) then ends at the last match before the main event. So it's pretty much like the election of 2000, your votes won't matter.

Mr. JL 09-15-2004 10:47 PM

It would be funny if RVD was an option and won it

Though, I smell bullshit. No way would the WWE let the fans vote. I'm sure they already have Triple H's jobber in place.

El Santo 09-16-2004 02:21 AM

Well, I heard it was originally going to be called "Halloween Havoc", but then the WWE chickened out on the name. So I suppose the "Taboo" part is something that sounds like "Halloween" but not quite.

Taboo sounds like something out of a Porno...infact I beleive I saw a Softcore Porno Movie with the words Taboo in it....

RemyRed 09-16-2004 03:06 PM

I hope the buy rate on this scam turns out REAL low.

Savio 09-16-2004 04:02 PM

If vince wants PPVs to sell better then he should have them on saturday.

Gouda 09-16-2004 04:36 PM

Of course the buyrate on this thing is going to be low. I mean honestly, who's going to buy a PPV where you don't know what the main event is beforehand?

Plus you know the outcome already... and you know the voting is going to be rigged too....

Bam! Good Rep!

Corkscrewed 09-17-2004 01:33 AM

They can't possibly have voting start at the PPV beginning and end before the main event starts... Seriously... that's just retarded.
