The New Em album "Encore"
 

I read over on allhiphop.com that to battle bootlegging he's not finishing his album until shortly before its November 16th release. Seems like a smart move I never really heard anyone doing that before. Hopefully this will be a better album than Eminem Show. I enjoyed Eminem Show but it seemed to bland with only 2 real topics, the gov and his mommy. But big up on Em for givin fans an album its been way too long.

I think his last album was his best, to be honest. I doubt this album will be as good. I am on Eminem overload at this point, with his last album combined with D12 getting so much damn airtime these days.

He's had a solo and a group album in the last 2 years...

I didn't like The Eminem Show and really thought the two LPs he released before were far better. Really hoping he blows it up and goes all out on this cd which I really think he is going to do.

I'm excited about this because I am a huge Eminem fan. Hopefully the album will be good.

I thought it was kind of entertaining. Not because it was good or anything, but it was just entertaining. Won't be buying the cd though.

the first two were good. Eminem Show was a let down so I didn't bother gettin it and I doubt I'll be gettin this one

The first single clearly states that he's lost his damn mind. But he stated long ago that he rarely likes the 'pop' singles they ask him to create anyway. They always expect him to do a "My Name Is". I'll probably snag the CD for collection purposes anyway.

Personally, Em lately has left a lot to be desired. He doesn't really play on words like he use to, no longer real lyricist to me. Seems like he just throws words together because they rhyme. It'll take some good reviews for me to buy it, not like he'll miss my 15 dollars.

Anyway, I'm not going to judge him on his single. His first single always sucks. He uses the catchy and poppy shit to get attention for the album.

Seems like The Source is backing up Michael on this one. Saying that BET, MTV, and all other music channels should pull the video and all other Eminem programming. The Source also said that Eminem is a threat to the black community and should be ousted from the hip-hop genre. But, I expected The Source to say something negative about the situation being it's owned by Benzino and all...

I'm sure I'll give it a listen but I dunno if I'll buy it. I'm not a huge fan of his but I'll admit he's a pretty good lyricist compared to a lot of the other stuff on MTV

I believe Eminem did this before with his last album. But instead of waiting to finish it he said that release date was on a certain day and then at the last second moved it up a week. His reason for that was to battle bootlegging.

anyone know where i can find the new single Nobodys Perfect... i dont know if its really new or an old song but i found the lyrics to it with other songs from Encore.. i tried looking on Limewire but they only had Madonna for thats song....

anyway.. downloaded the cd yesterday and its actully a pretty good cd, if you were gonna pick it up tommrow you should.. i liked it but then again im a big Eminem fan...

yea I downloaded this cd like 2-3 weeks ago and its been in my car since then. Listen to it all the time and some of the songs are pretty good. One of the songs had a beat which is horrible when you have the car volume turned all the way up. But other than that its a pretty good cd.

It's a good album.

There's a few filler tracks, but besdes that I can't really complain.

I like how is beginning to sample in his production now.

He does it on 3/4 songs.

I think it's fairly hilarious that there's a Triumph diss song on the new album. And it's freakin' great. That's even more hilarious.
