I am so damn tired of Jeff Hardy
Well ever since Jeff came to TNA and was considered a heavyweight it has made me mad. I never considered him a heavyweight and to me he should be in the X-Division. But anyway....I think he is a great talent but I have a few problems with him right now.
TNA is trying to shove him down our throats. Every damn time the announcers are talking its Jeff Hardy this or Jeff Hardy that. When ever someone is cutting a promo its always Jeff Hardy this Jeff Hardy that. I never really cared untill watching Impact today. Its Jeff Hardy everything. They are shoving him down our throats and all it is doing is pissing me off right now. Now I have never really gone on a rant like this before in here but this Jeff Hardy thing has been pissing me off and today watching Impact just made me want to explode. I am getting so mad that they keep on mentioning him after everything and I think they need to change. Jeff Hardy isnt that great. Or am I the only one who actuall thinks this? Please people...let me know if you feel the same way about this. Some people that I talk to dont feel like this is true but I just cant take this crap anymore. Thanks for liste.....i mean reading :) |
Well, What can I say...The Jeff Hardy Name, just the Draw Value alone from it from the Ladder Matches and TLC Matches in the WWE make him a huge star, espically in a smaller Fed like TNA...
And this is TNA, a fed that doesn't care if you're a cruiser or a Heavy, you can be a threat to the World Title there, espically since AJ Styles and Ron Killings have won the title twice, I do beleive they are over-doing it with Hardy, but I think they should have him as a upper mid-carder, Main Eventer, I kinda like the idea of Raven, Brown, Hardy, Abyss wanting a shot at Jarrett, just hopefully if he does lose it, they keep it off him |
I don't know why, but I hated Impact this week. (Note, spoilers are coming)
The Abyss squash was about the same as always. Don't get me wrong, I love Abyss, and I think he's an outstanding "hoss," but there are only so many times you can parade out somebody making their TNA debut and have him eat a Black Hole Slam in less than two minutes. The Petey Williams/Jerrelle Clark match had a nice flow going until they threw a commercial break into the middle of it. Then when they came back, they had to go back and show a replay of what happened during the break, because it was fairly crucial to the outcome of the match! This totally disrupted the continuity of the match, imo, and made me totally lose interest. And whose brilliant idea was it for Dusty Rhodes and Larry Zbysko to have a confrontation? But the worst part of the entire show for me was the constant promos! I mean, we'd get three to five minutes of wrestling, then we'd have to sit through seven or eight minutes of the same promos. I can practically recite the "Best of the Heavyweights" ad from memory right now, they played it so much. Plus, they showed the Victory Road trailer at least three times. It's not so noticeable when RAW or SmackDown do it, but they're each twice as long. When you have a sixty-minute show, and a half-hour of it is made up of four different three to five minute videos played ad nauseum, there is some poor planning going on. The show wasn't all bad, though. For the first time, I really enjoyed a Monty Brown promo. His little digs at the competition for the World Title was amusing, and the face he made when Jarrett interrupted him before he could say "PAAAAAAAAAAAAOUN-suh" was priceless. Also, the Tag Title scenario was really interesting, and one of the few reasons I'll tune in next week, just to see where they go with the whole Daniels/Skipper and Storm/Harris situation. What does this have to do with Jeff Hardy? Admittedly, not much, but this rant came to mind when I was reminded of the constant mention of Hardy's name, plus the fact that he was featured prominently in every one of the "Best Of" ads, despite the fact that he's been with the company for less than a quarter of a year. |
With Jeff Hardy's current look he should be a heel. When he made his return against AJ Styles he never had the makeup just the Jeff Hardy we were used to seeing when he was a member of the Hardy Boyz. Even at the end of the match he played a little heel and got in the face of Styles. Now he has the crazy face paint, arm paint, chest paint look going on. I just think the fans have started to react differently to him because of that. So why not turn him heel? He can come out claiming to be a rock star enigma and too good for TNA. blah blah blah. I think he'll actually be a good heel. Start telling the fans that they came here to see him. I think the fans would eat it up if done properly.

*reads what Mr. JL just said twice. Dies from laughter*
I'm sorry dude. Jeff can never be a heel. The fans love him too much. Now as Willow the Wisp...there's some heel potential. |
I can't explain it, but for whatever reason, I absoutely DESPISE Jeff Hardy. Ever since his days in the WWF, I've hated him. Maybe it's his wrestling, which I think needs some serious work. You know, just because Hardy was involved in all those TLC matches(which I do love), that doesn't mean he'll be entertaining outside of that. Now, on the flip side, you give me any TLC match he did with the Edge & Christian or The Dudleyz, and I'll take it over Jeff Hardy vs. Monty Brown or Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett any day of the week.
