If so, is that way she was on WWE TV, the week after Diva Search winner was announced? I would assume that WWE immediately signed Carmella. Why? Because it's obvious that she was a Playboy playmate at one point. So Vince figures...

I was wondering this to at the time. I was thinking that Vince wanted Carmella to probably win this thing. But maybe for once he decided to give the fans what they wanted and let Christy win. Then figured that since Carmella is former playboy material that he could just sign her also. If this did happen and I was Christy I would be extremely pissed right now.

I was hoping Christy would spontaneously combust from the first time I saw her inhuman bodily convulsions of alleged "energy" bounding across the stage. But I was rather relieved to find that Carmella didn't win, simply b/c I figured it was rigged in her favor to begin with. I can't say I see too much going on for either of them since all the Tough Enough girlies (not to mention guys) are pretty much ignored. Seems wether rigged or not, contest winners don't win much of anything.

Last I heard about Linda "Shaniqua" Miles was that around that time she got "squashed", she was sent to OVW and that she was a pain in the ass and thought that she was the greatest and whatnot. But if you're sent to OVW for this long, that should tell ya something.

I know they will ignore this new Divas in a couple months. Think of the many things you can do with these divas... that's right, not much. They will be like Maven and appear every so often. Life of a reality star is short-lived so expect it.

I think Ms. Hemme will be OK. She seems like an actual wrestling fan. It's probably thrill enough for her just to be there. I'm glad she won, and I wish her all the best.

How is it unfair? The winner of the contest was promised a quarter million dollars. There was nothing that said there couldn't be two winners. Christy got what she was promised she would get for winning.

I don't think Christy is REALLY a fan of wrestling. If she were, we'd probably have heard about her causing all kinds of shit backstage already...what with all the talented wrestlers stealing Maven's limelight, and the whole "contest winners getting more airtime than the wrestlers thing..." that I'm sure she would have committed suicide over.

Carmella was pretty much the hand picked winner, Vince just decided to give into the fact the fans booed her insanely and knew it would appear rigged had Christy not won. At the same time, Vince saw the people booing Carmella as her getting great heat, so in his mind why not sign her?

Yep, I just know that Vince already signed Carmella if she's still being on TV after the Diva search is over with, the only reason Carmella was signed because she had WWE potential. That's all it takes to get a WWE contract is having a good image.

I'm sure that the contest was rigged to begin with, but Vince realized that if he continued to stage it with the horrible reactions Carmella was receiving he would get a huge backlash from the fans. So, he has Christy win, but still got what he wanted to begin with, and that was Carmella in the WWE.

Honestly, people. This is like saying Zack Gowen didn't have a contract for those three months that he was "fighting for a contract". It was obviously rigged, otherwise Ms. Personality wouldn't have made it all the way to the end and then lost to Christy the Hyper Queen. With the entire arena booing Carmella (that being those with the capacity to care enough NOT to drop into a catatonic state induced from terible "entertainment") it would seem irrational to assume online ppl were actually rooting her on. Oh, and for "How is it unfair?" It's completely unfair, and it's low as shit. Especially from a figurehead such as McMahon who, if even as a characature, once went by the motto "In the interest of fairness..."

Diva search segments make me hate the WWE. Im sure I could find some other program where women bounce around and take off their clothes if I wanted, its like they dont realise we're watching WWE for the wrestling entertainment aspect of the show.
