TPWW AL MVP VOTING

CAST YR VOTES

Loose Cannon 09-30-2004 10:28 PM

Sheff

VonErich Lives 09-30-2004 10:28 PM

I'm a sox fan, gave sheff the vote... he carried the yanks all year when all their start hitters failed and star pitchers hit the wall... :)

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-30-2004 11:00 PM

I was thinking Vlad, but I went Manny because I am biased plus Manny has had a monster year for the Sox. He has made a ton of clutch plays in the field/hits, something he wasn't always exactly known for. I think this probably his best overall season with the Red Sox

Rain Man 09-30-2004 11:14 PM

Manny

The Miz 09-30-2004 11:21 PM

I voted for Vlad, best numbers of the big 4 contenders, best defensively of the 4, best outfield arm in baseball. Every good player the Angels have have either been injured, slumping or both. Not Vlad. IMO if Vlad wasn't on the Angels this year Oakland would've clinched long ago.

BCWWF 09-30-2004 11:33 PM

I voted for Emanuel, his first half was crazy

Dragon 10-01-2004 12:28 AM

Sheffield

John la Rock 10-01-2004 12:29 AM

Ichiro common...

256 + hits. On a last place team. I'd say that's a lock right there

Gertner 10-01-2004 12:34 AM

Gonna give it to Tejada

DegenerationY 10-01-2004 02:08 AM

I put Sheffield, but that's only because I haven't really paid a whole lot of attention to much going on in the AL, especially when it comes to individual performance.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-01-2004 02:31 AM

Vlady Dady

Mister Sinister 10-01-2004 02:44 AM

While I'm a Red Soxs Fan...I have to go with Vladamir Guerrero

Azriel 10-01-2004 04:06 AM

Shef definitely

YOUR Hero 10-01-2004 12:24 PM

The impaler.

MVP 10-01-2004 04:05 PM

MANNY, even though Vlad deserves it too.

The Outlaw 10-01-2004 08:35 PM

Went with Sheff, close between him and Vlad IMO.

Evil Vito 10-03-2004 12:42 PM

Manny and Ortiz will probably split votes, and Sheffield hasn't been too great down the stretch. Personally, I think Vlad Guerrero won it with his amazing September [.500 average, tons of homeruns]. He almost single-handedly got Anaheim the division lead and playoff berth. He's now got an average around .330 and has 39 homers, along with the Anaheim record for RBI in a season.
