Keeps freezing

Hey, can someone help me with this. Everytime I start my computer up it usually freezes and I have to restart, only for it to freeze again. I have StopZilla trial and an outpost firewall trial for 30 days, those expired. And it says that microsoft has encountered a problem. Anyone know why it keeps freezing? Is it cause of spyware?

Hit F8 and go into safemode and run your virus-scan mad spyware detector, Then reinstall your OS, whatever it may be.
