Lemme try this again, maybe I can go 30 seconds without being booted off.
10 Arn had it all. The psychology, the look, the ability and the personality. He drew you into his promos, his matches and everything he was involved in. His matches were so-me of the best matches featured on WCW programming in the early 1990's, and before that he was one of the better performers of the NWA. I didn't enjoy his WWF run all that much, but that was due to the booking of his team - not him or anyone involved in the matches. I always enjoyed Arn in WCW, from his matches under Col. Parker, to the Horsemen getting back together. Also, IMO, one of the best WCW TV Champions (possibly one of my favorite Titles ever - but that is a whole different thread). Anytime you watched Arn Anderson perform, you knew someone was about to get an ass-kickin'. Anyhow - Arn = 10 :y: |
9.75 - I remember watching old tapes and wanting to be like Arn.

Ring ability: 9.5
Overness: 10 (all the original Horsemen are a 10) Work rate: 10 Politics: 10 (editted, going by what KFM said) Mic skill: 10 Overall rank: 9.9 (rounded) It doesn't change the rounded score at all, though. |

Arn never needed to use politics in WCW or NWA due to being close to Ric. If Ric wanted something for Arn, he could get it. I'm not saying Arn took advan-tage of it, because he didn't, but Flair helped him out alot. Arn did whatever was asked of him, and I think that he was repaid for it quite well in winning belts (and matches) left and right. Hogan put him over, which - go ahead and knock me if you want - was a show of respect for Arn too, as he retired not long after that. But, like I said, he never really needed to get involved in that stuff because: A) He did basically everything he was asked to do (no matter how ridiculous - *cough* Robocop angle *cough*)....and B) Flair went to bat for him as well, whether asked to do so or not. |
Also, anyone who hasn't seen Arn before - do so. It's a wrestling treat. Arn and Ricky Steamboat, Arn and Mero, Arn and Blanchard teaming, Arn against a can of Dr.Pepper. Whatever. He's one of those guys who could work a broomstick to a solid match.

You know that can of Dr. Pepper carried Arn
Like the pudding cup carried Eddie Guerrero   |
9.99, Huge Double A mark.

Sid was a dick. Scissors were involved. Arn was stabbed, didn't retaliate.

Sid (who's probably legitimately close to seven) also got in a fight with Brian Pillman (who may be 5 foot 7 inches), decided he was too pussy to fight Brian straight up, went to find a weapon to use ... and came back with a squeegee... a fuckin car squeegee.

I've got a soft spot for old WCW wrestlers. And he was part of one of the greatest stables in wrestling history.

Ignore anything by that guy. He's just another troll. |
When was younger, I remember holding my stomach everytime I saw the Spinebuster, because I thought he he drove the knee into your stomach. I realized later on that he didn't do that, but still. Ouch!

I know this is a tad off topic, but if I were Arn Anderson, Jr., I would have my nickname be "The Reinforcer".
