Donovan McNabb debate
 

I am tired of people saying that McNabb is OVERRATED..I personally think he is the best thing that has happened to the Eagles (before T.O.) since Randall Cunningham. For the last 3 seasons, he has brought the Eagles to 3 straight NFC championships. You anti-eagles can go ahead and say whatever you want, but what quarterback do you know recently has went to the NFC championship 3 times in a row with NO, and i repeat NO wide receivers before T.O.? Dont get me wrong, Pinkston, Mitchell, and Thrash werent TERRIBLE..but just look at it this way:

P. Manning-Harrision
Bulger-Holt/Bruce
Culpepper-Moss

Get my drift?

The only QB i can think of is Farve but we know he is a future hall-of-fame inductee...but i mean really, the guy is a playmaker, can scramble like a running back, has a cannon as an arm, and accurate like a sniper...if i can please, get some respectable and mature feedback, Thank you :cool:

Its not that he's a bad quarterback, its that people have grown to dislike you guys enough that they now believe that he is bad. In reality he is a good quarterback, not the best passer, but still good. You guys just get more shit because you talk so much. No problem by me though, I don't mind it.

If you mean win a superbowl, what about Marino or Kelly? are they not great QB's and does that mean Dilfer is and Mark Rypien are?

I can't call any of them "great" yet... too young, too much to go... Brady looks like he will keep going, and I can see both McNabb and Manning putting up numbers, McNabb looks to have the better team around him currently. Plus Indy will probably lose either Edge or Harrison at the end of the season, but there is talk they might franchise Edge.

If one guy is annoyingly saying that one guy is the greatest, then its natural for the rest of us to start finding reasons why he isn't the greatest, and for most people that eventually fogs their mind and now they think McNabb is no good at all.

McNabb is overrated because everyone wants to see a black quarterback succeed.
