*Edit* Why the hell are these bands not in the rock n roll hall of fame?
 

Did they bet on baseball or something? What gives? KISS, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, The Monkees, Genesis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sex Pistols, and Van Halen...and I think Blue Oyster Cult as well...and Jethro Tull

Well, for one thing, the Sex Pistols really weren't very good, which is, when you think about it, a rather large factor when halls of fame are involved.

Van Halen and KISS should be, I dunno about the others.

black sabbath have turned it down a number of times, i berieve.

I think they were nominated, but they've stated they don't want in, as it's a bit of a sham. Sabbath have never been much of a critics band anyway...

There are some pretty crappy bands in it.

yeah I went there a couple of months ago, I think there are some guitars and whatnot from some of those bands in there but no actual exhibits or information. I believe some of their songs might have been under "500 songs that changed rock and roll." I am not sure though.

most of the hall of fame is just about how rock and roll started, with lot of black folk on the streets of Georgia.

BTW, the Monkees weren't a real band.

Ramones should be to. I think the rock and roll hall of fame is shit. They could make it a lot better but they want it to be shitty. Elvis was known as the king but it took years after his death to get inducted.
