Jericho and Perfect Attendance

You know, in all the time Chris Jericho has been in the WWE, I don't re-call him ever really taking time off. No injuries, no time to recover, no breaks, etc.

I don't know why I'm bringing this up, but I just think it's wierd. 5 years, and I seriously don't remember him ever being out of a storyline or off WWE programming. Am I wrong about this?

V 10-09-2004 11:57 PM

don't jinx it :(

Kapoutman 10-10-2004 01:57 AM

Didn't he have a leg injury about a year ago?

Savio 10-10-2004 02:31 AM

I remember him taking like a month off a year ago..

Hired Hitman 10-10-2004 04:35 AM

still... that is 1 out of 60 months... ;)

Innovator 10-10-2004 05:05 AM

That only happens to people with backstage pull.

Corkscrewed 10-10-2004 06:22 AM

Hahaha.

Yeah, Jericho's got an awesome record. He's like a perfect fantasy player.

spunkynut 10-10-2004 11:38 AM

Dont wanna turn this into a Y2J appreciation thread...BUT.....the guy rocks, give the World Title now, and have a face v face match at WM w/ Orton.....or maybe not

I haven't seen RVD injured since he's been in WWE.

He spent a month out of the ring, but he was still on TV during that time. That was about the same time he started doing the Highlight Reel, if memory serves.

I think you are right on this one too.

Jericho = Ratings as far as I'm concerned.

In all honesty, he is the only reason I still watch Raw.. really. I was wondering about his attendance record, and that he seems to be indestructible to a point. I know he has had injuries and still is on the show but damn.. never seen him take a personal break or anything.

And to avoid this from become the King OF Bling Bling's appreciation thread (which would be cool): RKO rules! WHOO!

Rob 10-10-2004 06:59 PM

Bret Hart missed two shows in 14 years and he still got screwed.

asphyXy 10-10-2004 07:33 PM

How about Jericho's new haircut? Terrible.

King Jericho 10-10-2004 07:55 PM

LOL yeh really quite bad.

ralphwiggum 10-11-2004 01:42 AM

Next thing you know next week on RAW:
JR: "Jericho's down holding his ankle! This isn't looking good folks!"

GODSON 10-11-2004 10:53 AM

I remember him being injured in his early WWF days after fueding with Chyna.

I thought Jericho missed a week this year after Batista injured him?

The CyNick 10-11-2004 01:31 PM

Rock was very consistant as well. I mean before he went to Hollywood. But while he was a top guy, I dont think he ever missed more than a week, and I cant recall any major injuries.

Y2Ant 10-11-2004 03:20 PM

The only injuries I can remember Jericho having are a slight knee injury after a ladder match (I think it was the one with RVD in 2001) and I remember reading about him having bone chips in his elbow one time, and he had a back injury one time where he took a few weeks off, but he was still on TV I think.

Oh yeah and when he had time off for his honeymoon :o

sensai86 10-11-2004 09:01 PM

Much RESPECT to the King of BLING BLING, keep up the good work.

John la Rock 10-11-2004 11:13 PM

Christian also was the "iron man" until his back injury
