Like for instance, remeber how Molly Holly first got startedin WWE. She was one of the "Hollys." But now, her currenct gimmick has jack crap to do with any of that, and it is hard to remeber exactly how that came about.

Or Nuzio. Wasn't he like Jamie Noble's cousin or something, but then he started up a Mafia. As long as we are on Noble...Nidia started out (in story lines anyhow) has Helm's ex, then starts being Noble's white trash girl, and now she is just some Porta Rician or something?

Molly was hot as hell when she first came about as Crash's Cousin or some shit. Also Czech out the changes in Steven Richards giommicks over the last few years.

And Billy Gunn doesn't seem to mind being tossed around in the gimmick box, either. He's done everything from Cowboy to "I swear I'm not gay!".

Farooq and JBL's gimmack changed a lot too.

HHH's evolution has been kinda neat, as it's happened over an extended time and has really, to be honest, been a great improvement over the original concept (which wouldn't have been a great long term gimmick IMO).

Speaking of which, that reminds me of that recent match with Rico & Haas vs. Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn. Rico was pulling his gay antics, and Billy was shocked --- SHOCKED! As if to say, "Good Lord, what utterly repulsive behavior, not that I was ever involved in a gay angle two years ago, now was Rico ever my manager at that time, playing pretty much the same character."

Hell, even Rico has gone from kinda gay, to "mega annoying, make Golddust look straight" gay.

Ok, I don't think you understand what I mean. Kane has pretty much played the same bit. I'm talking about like Molly Holly is still going by the same name, but plays a role that has nothing to do with what she started with. Or how Billy Gunn used to be a a cowboy, but he still goes by the same name but is teaming with Hardcore and kinda gay or into asses or something. Or completely unlike JBL who changed names with gimmicks, he used to be Blackjack Bradshaw, then Acoylite Bradshaw (I know for a bit he was teaming with TAKA before that), and now JBL, and has changed names with Gimmicks.

Let's say we go back to the mid-nineties. The fans would have farted on a Bob Spark Plugg Holly vs Justin Hawk Bradshaw match.

Kane - Masked Man out to destroy the Undertaker. Horribly scarred, most of his body covered up except for one arm, and vocal cords destroyed.

Kane - Suddenly falls in love with Tori (long since gone from teh WWF/E). Also falls in love with X-pac. Softer side coming out. Lot's of hugging between Kane and X-pac in the ring. His new ring attire has both arms uncovered-the burns have healed on his arm, apparently. No longer controls fire, but giant red lightning bolts.

Kane - Post-Xpac and Tori. Angry again at Undertaker. They battle for a while, then they become best friends and tag team for a while. Then they fight some more. Then, for no apparent reason, Kane decides to fight Austin. Austin destroys the monster, who no longer has a softer side.

Kane - Post-Austin. Kane can speak! It's a miracle. Although his vocal cords were irreparably damaged in the fire that killed his parents (but not really, since he turns out to Paul Bearer's bastard son...I think...maybe?) when he was a small child. Oh, it turns out that he also apparently was dating a girl in his younger days. Of course, according to his initial story, he was burned alive and left for dead when he was a child. It must have been a young romance....:/

Kane - HIS MASK IS GONE, and his skin isn't burned - only blackened by eyeshadow! Wow! I can't believe it! After all these years, all he was hiding was a bald head and eye-shadow. You silly, silly man. No one cares if you wear women's makeup - being metrosexual is a-ok in all of our books.

Kane - He's a maniac again and this time he got Lita pregnant. Lot's of jokes about his burnt member...but judging from past experience, I tend to believe his penis is simply covered in a thick coating of eyeshadow. He's since gone from metrosexual to straight-edge, wiping the makeup off his face. I bet so he can keep his tough guy "I was burned and although I didn't heal over the course of my entire life, being in the WWE made my healing accelerate so much that wounds that didn't heal over 30 years magically healed in 3 years" image. WWE should really consider opening up a day-spa if people get these types of results.
