Well, The man who help pull Wrestling into the Mainstream in the late 90's got the due he deserved as he scored a 93, which puts him, all by himself in Third Place, and knocking, Christian, Scott Hall, Jerry Lynn and Kanyon out of the Top 10 completely.

Amazing on the mic, great at playing to the crowd, not the best in the ring but his matches are always exciting. I almost want to let my markish side give him a 10, but I'll restrict myself :p
9.7 |
9.6 Needed to be a bit better on the wrestling, but the mic work more than compensates.

My all time favorite wrestler. Noboddy can cut a promo better then him, he has more charisma in his pinky finger than 99.9 % of the roster, he's great in the ring (and very underrated, remember folks he's one of the few wrestlers who wrestled in an "Iron Man Match"), He, along with Austin, was the biggest stars in the Attitdue era, and he is massively over as an actor in Hollywood. IF YA SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!!!! |
:foc: Austin for pushing all those people out of the top ten. If only I had voted... I could have brought his score down. :shifty: I hate Austin.
Anyways... The Rock. Ring ability: 8 Overness: 10 Work rate: 9 Charisma: 10 Finisher: 8.5 (Loses points for The People's Elbow. It's one of those moves that everytime I see it I go "Just move out of the damn way! ") Mic skill: 10 (Always a treat) Memories/Potential: 10 (I have good memories of The Rock... and if is movie career somehow flops... he's still young and could easily make a return to the main event picture) Overall: 9 |
I enjoy his moves more than his matches. But he was one funny wrestler. I loved that one people's elbow he did in the dress shoes, and he slid on them before dropping his "bow."
10, again, go to hell A.J. Styles. |
lol
BDC's "Go to hell AJ Styles" is like Foley's cheap pops. |
10, don't get me started. :p

i blame him for a school full of idiots, saying "it doesn't matter" this and that, and i blame him for falling for the "what's your name" trick and getting slapped everywhere i went a few years ago, i also blame him for people asking me if i have jelly donoughts and having no idea what the hell they were talking about, or why they told me to take the jelly out and shove it up my ass
long story short, i give him a 0 with a 1 infront....... subtract 1.5... aka 8.5 |

I'll like to nominate Shamrock |
Ring ability: 8.5

The only downfall of the Rock is that he isn't the best in ring wise. I really wanted to dock him more for it, except while he may not be the best, he's entertaining. The Rock could have a match with very little wrestling skill in it, and he could still make it a great match just with his aura. He has a way of shining shit that I've rarely seen. |
9.99999999999999999999998 (count it as 9.9)

9.3 - the deducted .7 is for when he got stale. It would have been more but he turned it around so well.

Ring ability: 7
Overness: 10 Work rate: 9 Politics: 8 Finisher: 7 Mic skill: 7 X Category: 0 Overall rank: 6.8 I held up a "Rocky sucks!" sign when he was a face. |
8. He's entertaining, loves the business, and is one of the few guys who I really think can actually "draw". I still see him as one of the WWE's greatest assets. If he returned to the WWE full-time, I think we'd have a better overall product on RAW and SmackDown!.
As far as wrestling skills go, he's not the best, but his effort really shows. He sells offense well, and always makes the other guy look credible. |
9 - Not the greatest wrestler but his matches told a story and he is the best in the world on the mic.
|
I give him a 7.Hes entertaining on the micac and all but his wrestling skills arent the greatest plus the fact that hes constantally leaves to hollywood causes him to lose points in my opinion.
|
Haha, mic skill 7. Who has a 10, asphyXy?
|
Ring ability: 8.5 - nothing spectactular, but had some gereat matches
Overness: 10 Charisma/mic skill: 10 Finisher: 8 The rock bottom is ok. But i think the rock bottom should be like softening the oponent of before doingthe ppl's elbow. altho its not a great move, the is wrestling, and it is fake! entrance: 10 - love the pop for "if you smellllllllllllll........ what the rock is cooking" Overall: 9.3 Wow, equal to my rating of stone cold! Next pool should be: "if you can smell, what the book, is cooking!" (aka booker T)_ |
10. :y: What can I say great ringwork great on the mic. I loved how he would always be top notch with his mic skills and jokes. And I loved that whole Concert thing he did when he was a heel
|
Crap in wrestling ability. Pulls spots left and right, and only has half way decent mic work to fall back on. The writers did wonders for him, and he still proves he's stale when he has to improvise anything. My score for "The Rock" is a 5 (being nice).
Final Rating: 5 |
Ring ability: 7.5
Overness: 10 Work rate: 10 Politics: 10 Mic/Charisma: 10 Finisher(s): 8 - The People's Elbow brings it down a bit, but it still gets a good rating because of the pops it gets... Rock Bottom's pretty good... ============ And the final rating IS: 9.25 rounded to 9.3 |

9.4, if you smell what the Rock is cooking.
Reason: Equal to Stone Cold Steve Austin + 0.1 for personal reasons What can I say about the Rock that hasn't been said? He's the guy who got me to watch wrestling again. Most of the time, whenever he was on TV, I was totally riveted. While he was not a wrestling technician like Benoit or Jericho, I cannot say in my mind that I ever saw a Rock match where I was not entertained. There's also a personal reason. I'm not a Caucasian person; I'm a Pacific Islander. So when the Rock hit the main event of the WWF, it was like someone was the most recognized person in wrestling, was a household name, and --- by God --- he was the same skin color as me! (Maybe he's a scosh darker, but around that range.) I wasn't alone, either. I know people who are Hispanics or Asian Indian who looked up to the Rock as their idol. It was as if, deep down inside, all of us knew that we could be as cut or as bombastic or as fun as The Rock. A true "People's Champion". Also, imitating the Rock's voice or mannerisms are great for party tricks. :) |
