Rate the Tag Team Day 4- The Dudley Boyz
 

Well Day 3 is done and the Hardyz put up a good fight, but 2 scores definitely greatly affected their scores. Well have fun with today's tag team.


The Dudley's were one of the most influential tag teams on the face of this planet. They revolutionized the hardcore division of tag teams with their massive and long title reigns in ECW. When ECW folded, they first came to the WWE as just members of WWE. But when the Invasion angle started, they were quick to turn on the WWE and join the Alliance. During the first Raw draft they were seperated as Bubba Ray was forced to stay on RAW while D-von headed over to the SD brand. D-von then became a minister to a man named Deacon Batista and the angle although looked good early, eventually faultered in the end. The Dudleys were finally reunited on SD (I don't know if they were even reunited on RAW I think they were traded for HHH in the draft) where they have been feuding with every tag team on the planet there.


I do not care how you guys rate them. You guys can simply rate them with numbers or you can be extensive about it. Doesn't matter to me.

I agree with Tornado. Their matches bores me, and I don't really care for them either.

Actually, when ECW folded, the Dudley Boyz were in the WWF for a year and a half. Also, they were reunited onto the Raw brand at Survivor Series 2002, not SmackDown!

I guess since I'm replying anyway, I might as well give those Damn Dudleyz an 8.

9, they're pretty tough in the ring.

they're excellent together, put on great matches when needed to, but have been together WAY too long

I'll try and not be bias about them... 8. They're not the same Dudleys. I miss the flaming tables.

Were badasses in ECW, and were possibly the GREATEST heel tag team. I mean, they nearly incited Riots.. Flaiming tables, etc.

WWE, they aren't as great, but have always been a "threat". COuld easily be a top heel tag team again, but I don't think Vince will "unleash " them.

Also, they get major bonus points for having my favorite tag team finisher. The 3D is followed closely only bt the 'Problem Solver" ( Flapjack into a DDT)

9 - for a while they were the best. They aren't as good now bu tfo ra while they were my favoutrite team before E & C became heel.

5 - they bore me senseless right now. They would get a lower score had it not been for the fact that they used to be so good to watch in 2000

Average workers, good mic skills. Bubba is an asshole, D-Von isn't.

8. A legendary tag team, and they've captured so much of that tag team essence, you can't really see them splitting up for long. They can play the faces or the heels really well, and they've been in some great matches. What really lets these guys down is their technical wrestling ability.

I nominate Val Venis & The Godfather next.

7.5 They were good back in the day as mentioned above, theyre good in WWE but not as good in ECW and all that.
