The Raw title scene (Taboo Spoilers)

So everything seems to be writing itself for the nest few months from what I can see:

Edge and Benoit are going to start feuding

HBK is going to get that Knee looked at

and I'm assuming (hoping) that Orton's next opponent is Batista to keep him away from HHH till Mania 21.

Leaving only 1 guy IMO

JERICHO!

It makes sense, why else would they Job him off to Benjamin so quickly after winning the title, I doubt that if he is put in a programme with Trips he'd get the belt, but still it's a main event push again, something he's been missing for over 2 years now. Plus this keeps Orton and HHH apart for a few months; the Y2J/HHH feud could last till the Rumble and then Orton wins the Rumble itself making him the Number 1 contender (or he wins the mandatory number 1 contender match at No Way Out).

Well it makes sense to me

That's an idea, and hopefully something like that happens. I can also see a mini-feud with either Shelton Benjamin, Eugene, William Regal & Kane developing. It wouldn't surprise me to see a calssic Survivor Series Eliminaiton Match as the RAW SS main event.

Kane wont be back until the Rumble now as he's filming Eye Scream Man

King Jericho 10-20-2004 07:33 AM

Yeh I agree.

It works with Jericho losing the belt to Benjamin (which is logical, as the majority of the fans voted for Benjamin). It leaves a program with HHH, which will be good for the both of them.

It's a shame I can't see Jericho winning the belt but a main event push is still a main event push.

I'm guessing he meant all those guys on the same side against Evolution and co.

Mr. Nerfect 10-20-2004 08:29 AM

Yeah, I meant Jericho leading a team of faces against Evolution. Maybe it could be Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, Edge & Christian vs. Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit, in a match in which the winning team takes all the titles involved?

So in the end we'll either have Triple H in possession of the World Heavyweight Title, Batista in possession of the IC Title and Edge & Christian in possession of the tag titles or Shawn Michaels in possession of the World Heavyweight Championship, Shelton Benjamin in possession of the IC Championship and Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit in possession of the World Tag Team Championship.

Don't get your hopes up... The main event spot is probably reserved for Snitsky. :(

What?

WTF?

He's a heel, and green and is involved in a completly different anlge why the fuck would he be in the title scene?

Mr. Nerfect 10-21-2004 06:57 PM

Y2J looks like the obvious chocie guys, and I relal yohpe he does get the oppourtunity, but I have a feeling Benoit, Benjamin, William Regal & Eugene may all be in line, too. Possibly a Survivor Series Elimination Match is the way to go.

Kane was a heel up until a month ago, and his "turn" hasn't convinced me yet. Point being: Snitsky v. Kane was heel on heel.

Sure he's green, but it isn't completely unprecidented. Besides, he's getting a mega push by beating down Kane.

Judging by the "blood" sputtering out of Kane's mouth, I'd assume that Snitsky's current angle is going to go on hold until Kane's movie is done.

My point is that as some have already noted, the ball is in Snitsky's court with this victory over Kane. They have to do SOMETHING with him. It wouldn't suprise me if they didn't book it. which made me sad: hence the :(
