Is SOCOM 2 any good
I don't know. My friend has it and says it is awesome and told me to buy it. So I might get it so we can play it online and all that. Gonna have to buy a headset or something too. Stupid PS2. Anyways, is this game any good, or should I just tell him to STFU

It's ok. I only use it for the online mode.

I take it your have broadband or some high speed connection. You're going to need it if you play online.

I still have the GC, Ninti. :foc: I play it a lot, but I have the PS2 for online gaming. My PC is getting a bit old and I can't be bothered to keep it upgraded enough to play current games without slowdown, so it's easier to just play them on a PS2. Nintendo still = <3 however
Anyways yeah I have a cable connection so that's not a problem at all. I dunno I'll probably end up getting it, just wanted some other opinions :mad: |
I felt like it was good enough for the $50 at release so if it's under that now it will be worth the buy. If you do get it, we can play sometime.

If you already have a USB headset for your computer or somthing, you can just use it on your PS2.

Yeah its a great online game. The headset is a must for the whole part of working as a team with others that you are playing with.

Yeah I've played it at my mates house a few times. Funny listening to other peoples dodgy accents. Best part is telling little kids to shut up though.
