laying down the law of the Inverted Atomic Drop
I wa watching RAW on friday night as I do, and something struck me that hasn't struck me in 10 years ofwatching wrestling. Why is the inverted atomic drop not a move resulting in DQ - It's a lowblow which is illegal so why no DQ?

The referee never sees it.
|
Because the referee doesn't see it as a sport,he sees it as
entertainment :shifty: |
Because you touch yourself at night.
|
Because the rf sees it as a moified atomic drop, whereby the contact is on the tailbone, not groin
|
Whats a regular atomic drop?
|
It affects the whole groin area, but it's not like it's a fist or a foot or any other body part to the groin. You're lifting the opponent up and placing him on the mat again.

Regular atomic drop is the equivilant of a knee up the arsehole. Quite sore when done right actually.

The regular atomic drop. |
Note that the guy goes forward (to the left) and lands on the knee of the guy in the red white and blue trunks.
I mean, from that pic, you could have been showing a backdrop. :p |
