William Shatner's new CD "Has Been"

The album features guests: Ben Folds, Joe Jackson, Aimee Mann, Brad Paisley, and Henry Rollins.

Has anyone heard this yet? Is it worth getting? I'm thinking about picking it up considering the fact that Henry Rollins and Ben Folds are on this.

William Shatner is a musician and singer. Hence, those 1-800 collect commercials he stars in with him singing and fronting a band in front a live audience is an example.

Shatner is quite a man. He's done it all. He's an actor, a novelist/writer, comedian, movie star, TV host (Rescue 911, etc.), musician, etc. He's done everything. :)

He was a wrestler too.

His cover of Common People is getting a lot of airplay on Triple J (the Worlds greatest radio station). It's pretty bloody good.

Is that the one he does with Ben Folds?

The Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is hillariously awful. That's what I immediately hear when you mention Cpt. Kirk and music, but if you guys say it's pretty good, I'll have to try and catch it.

Yeah, like YOUR Hero said, since the other guys says it's good stuff, I think I will pick up a copy of it.
