How do you think the match card will look like?

Based on the poster, it looks like SmackDown isn't going to be taking many heels.

Well, I'd say it'll probably look a little something like this. This isn't enough matches for the card, but it's all I can think of.

WWE Championship
JBL(c) vs. Booker T

*They've been going at it at house shows, and with Booker's face turn on SmackDown this week, I'd say this is pretty much locked.

Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho & ???(I can't think of anyone else for their team) vs. Evolution and two other people(whom I also can't think of)


Yeah, it's only two matches, but it's all I can really get out of my head at the moment.

Apart from that, there just putting there most well known guys and regonisable guys on the poster so people know what its about I guess.

I like the poster a lot, but what does that really mean?

Well theyve already pretty much confirmed Taker vs Heidenreich at SurvSer, and watching SD make you think we'll get BT vs JBL.

I dont think they have any intention on putting the title on BT, so my guess is that this is just a short term program.

Gotta figure we'll get at least two elimination matches, one from each brand. HHH doesn't really have anything cooking with the RAW belt, so I'd assume he'll be with Evo in an elimination match. Likely it'll be something like Evo/Christian/ vs Orotn/Benoit/Edge/Jericho/Benjamin.

I could also see Euegene vs Snitski. I haven't heard that anywhere, but I just think Bisch will be looking for revenge, and Snitski is being billed as a monster, so this seems somewhat logical to me.

Judging by the poster i envisage the matches to be full of flashing lights, badly synced speech with their mouths still moving after the words have finished, and lots of fireballs dragonball-z style.

Odd. I use the PPV posters as wallpaper each month but my SurvSer wallpaper does not feature Mysterio on it and HHH is pretty much covering all of the Sara tatoo.

The US Title match would go to CCC via forfeit, because John Cena isn't able to return. This makes Cena look human, gives him a feud for either Armageddon or the Royal Rumble, and keeps him out of the main event, until he's had a little bit more exposure.

Starting clockwise from the top right corner, here is the storyline for Survivor Series 2004:

The night begins with Kurt Angle, who does a promo about how he feels that the only way the business can survive is if he stands atop the glass ceiling with Eddie Guerrero, above all others...including HHH.

Next up, a match between Edge and Rick Flair. Towards the end of the match, Flair appears to have trouble breathing. He turns purple (more than usual) and colapses in the ring. Now normally one would think that Edge's new character would jump on the opertunity to win the match, but management's concern for the crowd's recent reaction towards Edge showed through when they immediately turned him face again by having him give Flair the Heimlick maneuver. Flair promptly coughs up a Rey Mysterio and thanks Edge for his help with a handshake.

Then we have a promo where Taker learns to read.

Taker: "Sur...Surv.....Survivapottamus Sensational. This is HORSE SHIT!!!!"

Then we have a classic Survivor Series match in which a large group of Smackdown Midcarders fight for a number one contenders position against Bradshaw at the next PPV. After a long fought battle, Booker T finally wins the "Remove my ten gallon hat that's been glued to my head while I'm sitting on a pole and I'll give you a title shot" match.

Oh geez...what else? Batista shrinks himself using his new patented "Dehossifying Ray" and is promptly fired by Vince McMahon in a mega face turn. (Rumors are that the ray is reversable, and that this is just an excuse to give Batista some time off before he comes back in January "Rehossified" to win the Royal Rumble and go on to win the championship.)

Chris Jericho loses his match against "Jobby McJobberton" when he is distracted by the realization that HHH's nose is bigger than his own head. To quote Jericho, "Geez! If I were prospecting for green gold, I would have put a claim on you and invested in Canaries, Trips!"

Um....The Ortonbot loses traction...Chris Benoit debuts his new gimmick of constantly stubbing his little toe and crying about it...Big Show sees that Flair didn't finish all of his Rey Mysterio and decides to grab a bite for himself.... and Eddie Guerrero, Shelton Benjamin, and John Cena shock the wrestling world by forming the NULCotPO or New Upper Left Corner of the Poster Order. The concept fails before the night is even over, and management blames it on the fact that HHH didn't make enought appearances in the night.

I know this may sound kind of stupid, but how about they do what they did in SurSeries in 2001, and not have the world title on the line.

Hell, have no titles defended (except women's and CW)

The World Champ/IC Champ/World Tag Champs v. WWE Champ/US Champ/ WWE Tag Champs in a "Battle Of The Brands" Classic Survivor Series Elimination match. And the winning brand gets to name the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble and gets THE MAIN EVENT SPOT at WrestleMania.

The only problem would be that this requires thinking ahead longer than 10 minutes from now.

I'm pretty sure we will have a RAW Survivor Series Elimination Match headlining RAW, and a WWE Championship Match between JBL & Booker T. Taker/Heidenreich is near confirmed for the event, as would Chavo & Kidman (unless they figure into a SS Match somewhere). I think we will either see an Elimination Chamber on Armageddon, New Year's Revolution, No Way Out or on an episode of RAW or SmackDown! somewhere. I can see it used as a way to spark a RAW vs. SmackDown! theme ar WrestleMania. Using this informaiton, here is how I would book Survivor Series:

WWE Championship
John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Booker T
Winner: Booker T. They may as well take the title of JBL. He isn't likely to headline WrestleMania, and it's not like we can see JBL get into an effective program with Kurt Angle, without one of them turning face (more likely Angle). Give the title to Booker T, and make him a marked man heading into Armageddon. Why not even turn Orlando Jordan face during the match? You can have him turn heel later down the road when Booker T and him have a falling out.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, Edge & Christian vs. Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Maven, Chris Benoit & Shelton Benjamin
Winners: The faces via submission. This is a perfect oppourtunity to make the faces look good, and have Triple H put over Benoit or Jericho, so he can have an opponent leading into New Year's Revolution and the Royal Rumble. You can have Shawn Michaels interfere, setting up something for Edge & HBK at WM.

Casket Match
The Undertaker vs. John Heidenreich
Winner: Heidenreich. He needs the win, and The Undertaker can easily come back the next night on SmackDown! if need be. You could even have Gene Snitsky interfere and have him challenge the other "Calloway brother" now that Kane's gone. You can even have Paul Heyman manage both guys, and move between RAW & SmackDown!.

Tag Team Match
Eric Bischoff & Gene Snitsky vs. William Regal & Eugene Dinsmore
Winners: Eric Bischoff & Gene Snitsky via pinfall. You can even have a stipulation where if Eric pins Eugene, then Eugene must leave the WWE forever. Have Snitsky dominate this match, then have him let Eric get the pin. This allows Snitsky to "destroy" three characters in Kane, The Undertaker & Eugene.

Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. John Cena
Winner: Carlito Caribbean Cool via forfeit. By having Cena not show this, is allows CCC to get more heat, and have Cena seem more "human". The have Cena come back on SmackDown! or something, and have them feud into Armageddon and the Royal Rumble.

Winners: The heels via pinfall. Have London turn heel, and setup a tag team feud between Kidman/London, Eddie/Chavo & Rey/RVD headining into Amrageddon. Anyone smell TLC? A heel Haas could use a boost as well.
