Yeah, he combines all his talents really well and that allows him to bring aspects to movies and tv shows that no one else can really. He has Ray's mannerisms down too as best I can tell from the commercials.

It's about fucking time Jamie Foxx is getting some recognition, he deserves it. With movies like "Collateral" and "Ray", those two will make him a huge star.

Even if Foxx does get Oscar nominated for this role, I don't think he's going get it, 'cause with "Passion of Christ" may possibily get nominated in every category, "The Passion" will sweep all the awards like "LOTR: ROTK" did at last years Oscars. But Foxx will get nominated for this role (hopefully).

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this. I hope to see it this weekend. The film does look amazing.

I don't think "The Passion" is going to sweep this year. I think there's been enough backlash about it where it will probably get nominated for Best Picture and all of the costume/production design/score categories. Jim Caviezel might get a Best Actor nom. It will win the technical awards, but there have been too many other great performances and great movies that weren't snuff films.

Back on topic, though, "Ray" looks amazing. I'll definitely be seeing it as soon as I get over my cold. Jamie Foxx blew me away in "Collateral," and Ray Charles led such an interesting life. I can't wait.

I doubt that "The Passion" will get many awards let alone Nominations. There are a lot of Jewish people in the film industry who flat out refuse to watch the movie and won't vote.

just came back from seeing Ray.

What an awesome movie. Jamie Foxx will win the Oscar for best actor I can almost guarantee that.

I didn't know Ray Charles was such a pimp or a heroin junkie.
