Brett Favre is the Bret Hart of football

Ridiculous. Like nonstop bad shit happens to him.

He gets injured like every week, his dad died, his brother in law died on his property, riding his ATV, and now his wife gets breast cancer. COME ON.

The Icon of Elisim 10-29-2004 01:51 AM

Woah wrestling analogy, I thought these weren't "ish"

The Icon of Elisim 10-29-2004 01:52 AM

But seriously, this guy is an emo song waiting to be writen

Jerichoholic 10-29-2004 02:17 AM

Brett Favre in emo glasses made me chuckle.

BCWWF 10-29-2004 02:23 AM

He is like the bitter enemy of all Vikings fans, but at the same time I don't think there is any fan who disrespects him. He is an amazing talent and an amazing guy.

The Outlaw 10-29-2004 02:36 AM

Yeah, seems like stuff is happening to him every week. He seems like a "good old boy" (cue randy moss/jason williams commercial) too. He likes to hunt and fish and all that lol

But yeah, some sad stuff. :(

good times

DegenerationY 10-29-2004 04:52 AM

He was addicted to painkillers.

BCWWF 10-29-2004 05:11 AM

Hovan will have the best of him in a few days

YOUR Hero 10-29-2004 11:25 AM

Vince didn't screw Brett, Brett screwed Brett.

samichna 10-29-2004 12:37 PM

Yeah, and he has played like 950 games in a row.

THAT's LIKE 80 full seasons (incl. playoffs)

IRON MAN

Took 10-29-2004 02:01 PM

Vince Lombardi screwed Brett Favre.

But yeah, honestly, I hope his wife along with anyone who ever fights with that disease gets better. I used to dislike Favre and root for Young and the Niners back when these two teams were tops in the league, but I have to respect him.

Rob 10-29-2004 02:08 PM

Poor bloke

CosaNostra 10-29-2004 02:11 PM

Who is the Ric Flair quaterback then? Joe Montana?

Rob 10-29-2004 02:16 PM

Montana quit the game years ago and isn't bitter about every little comment about him.

The Mackem 10-29-2004 03:39 PM

I dunno if I saw Joe Montana, I would "Whoooo" him endlessly.

yeah, except Testaverde was never the greatest QB ever.

CosaNostra 10-29-2004 10:57 PM

Dan Marino is Ted Dibiase; both the greatest guys to never win the big one.

road doggy dogg 10-29-2004 11:41 PM

WTF, I didn't hear about the breast cancer thing. That is awful. Brett Favre is still my all-time favorite player behind Barry though. He is the man and a half.

The Miz 10-29-2004 11:45 PM

Ryan Leaf is the Shockmaster

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-29-2004 11:46 PM

Yea I know what you mean.

A lotta bad things happening to him, plus the Packers arent their "usual" selfs this season either, must be tough

Mister Sinister 10-30-2004 02:27 AM

Jim Kelly = Modern Day Shawn Michaels

Since HBK has had a million and one chances in the past 2 years to be champion, while Kelly got chance after chance and never won it

road doggy dogg 10-30-2004 03:37 AM

Ok this wrestling-football thing was gay after like the first analogy

The Miz 10-30-2004 02:59 PM

Not As Gay As Having 60000 Posts On An Internet Message Board

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-19-2004 03:23 PM

Ridiculous

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-19-2004 03:24 PM
