Yeah, that show was badass. Good thing Throwdown dropped off due to vehicle troubles.
Also, Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage was there and finished off Lamb of God's "Black Label" Fear Factory was pretty friggin heavy - and fucking loud. Although, perhaps that was because I was standing pretty much right next to the speakers :D Lamb of God was the goods as well. I was moshing with some Hells Angels guy during Lamb of God's set, like 300 pounds. I got thrown around like a little ragdoll :'( Children of Bodom stole the show, hands down. I hadn't heard much of their stuff, but last night was more than enough to persuade me, they kick ass. Very good times. |

Word to them playing longer, the second time I saw them was about 45 mins long and that was orgasmic.
And yeah The Trooper isn't Bodom. Neither are the songs "Iron, Steel, Metal", "Repent", and "The Final Countdown"... there are a few songs out there that are renamed as Bodom, but are obviously not them. |

BTW, I noticed they were using a loop of Needled 24/7 in the background on an MTV show yesterday. It was fucking scary. And they've used Lacuna Coil on that new Ozzfest reality show.

MTV uses the bassline in Peace Sells in their commercials too. The bastards make you think that you'll actually hear Megadeth on the network at least once, but swerve you by shoving reality shows down your throat.
