Keyshawn

Now I know everyone doesn't like TO.. But out of all the WR in the NFL by far the biggest dick of them all is Keyshawn Johnson. He said somethign over this weekend about spanking Pam Olivier because of her sideline reporting? What a piece of shit I dont know about you but I hate that guy.

Gonzo 11-01-2004 07:46 PM

That may be bad, link? T.O. in my opinion takes the cake there.

BCWWF 11-01-2004 07:50 PM

TO is the man. So is Keyshawn. People don't like TO because either A. They don't want to make you feel good and B. They are lame asses.

He talks his shit, does his antics, and backs it up.

I'm looking around but I just saw the whole thing on Sportscenter

BCWWF 11-01-2004 07:53 PM

I just read the article and its a whole lot of nothing. He wasn't implying anything sexually, he was just using a metaphor. It wasn't a threat or anything, it was just him making a funny. Jeepers creepers man.

From ESPN.com:

ESPN.com news services
Just give him the damn mike? It might be safer not to. In responding to a sideline report with which he disagreed, Dallas Cowboys receiver Keyshawn Johnson suggested Fox's Pam Oliver could use a spanking.

Johnson

Johnson criticized Oliver on his Sirius satellite radio show Thursday for her report during an Oct. 24 game that he had yelled at Cowboys assistant Sean Payton.

Johnson vehemently denied having yelled -- so vehemently that he said, "I almost wanted to get on a plane, find where she is at, and sit her down and spank her with a ruler really, really hard, because it makes no sense.

"You don't need to make up a story."

The star receiver, who was a temporary studio analyst for Fox last season after getting bounced by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made it clear that he considered the incident a gender issue. Even before the spanking comment, Johnson noted that he had been "all for" having female reporters on the sidelines but implied that his approval diminished if they "can't get their story straight," according to a USA Today report.

Oliver stood by her report just as firmly -- if not as colorfully -- on Friday, telling The Dallas Morning News, "My job is to report what I see. I do not make stories up. ... Keyshawn is having a complete denial of reality."

When asked what she would do if Johnson tried to spank her, "I will punch him in the face," Oliver told the Texas newspaper.

Payton isn't talking -- Cowboys assistants aren't allowed to speak with the media during the season, according to the Morning News -- but Fox stood up for its reporter.

Fox's Dan Bell told USA Today on Sunday that the network stands "110 percent" behind Oliver's report -- and that it's "highly unlikely" Fox would hire Johnson again.

So the player, who told the national newspaper he hoped everybody talked about his complaint and made Oliver feel small, may be the one who has talked himself right out of a job.

Rain Man 11-01-2004 08:01 PM

Still I mean the guy has a family and shit "I'd take a ruler and spank her" Like who says that?

Gonzo 11-01-2004 08:04 PM

No doubt T.O. can back it up. I do think that getting excited and pumped and taking it overboard are two very different things. T.O. had some premedonna(sp?) moments in San Fran which perhaps contribute to my opinion.

I like the Giants and Shockey gets the way T.O. does at times. I hate it, it sometimes costs us 15, play the game and let that reflect you, rather than extra curricular actions, above all else.

The Outlaw 11-02-2004 02:04 AM

He meant shes a terrible reporter Im guessing

And to go out on a limb, she probably is and has no reason to be reporting.

road doggy dogg 11-02-2004 03:15 AM

ROFL @ a TO fan whining about another dickhead athlete being a retard

DegenerationY 11-02-2004 03:15 AM

Keyshawn is definitely a bitch, but this story is being blown out of proportion.

Okay, so he said something a little un-PC. He's done much worse.

The Highlander 11-02-2004 03:44 AM

Me-Shawn and T.O would both be rated much lower if it weren't for their big mouths. As recievers, they're good, but not as good as Hines Ward or Marvin Harrison, who both get headlines by their play on the feild, not their antics or mouths.

By the way, I'd take a ruler and spank Jillian Barbarie.

el fregadero 11-02-2004 02:30 PM

Look at the numbers this year, Highlander.

DegenerationY 11-02-2004 02:45 PM

Highlander, get off the crack.

As much as I dislike T.O., he is definitely one of the best receivers in the game right now. I think he's had like 5 straight games with over 100 yards this year.

He's tied for 6th on the ALL TIME list for something. I forget what though :'(

BCWWF 11-02-2004 04:11 PM

I'll agree with Highlander here. Just based on skill alone TO would be comparable to guys like Issac Bruce, who is still really good, but not nearly as popular. His voice clearly adds some game to his name.

The Answer 11-02-2004 08:07 PM

Anyone think she might not mind getting spanked by Keyshawn?

Crimson 11-02-2004 08:13 PM

T.O gets on my nerves a lot more. It's all about me-me-me-me, he thinks the media ALWAYS writes bad stuff about him , which is only the case once in a while, and is mostly true. All that's gotta happen is for the Eagles to start losing and he'll start to meltdown again.

Don't expect the Eagles to start losing this season and for probably the next 3 seasons.

BCWWF 11-02-2004 08:49 PM

The media wants guys like TO, you think they like writing the beat and thats it?

BabyHugger 11-02-2004 10:48 PM

I hate Keyshawn because he sucks, that comment if anything makes him cooler.

BCWWF 11-02-2004 11:13 PM

He is actually a really talented reciever

BCWWF 11-02-2004 11:14 PM

Keyshawn is the opposite of TO though, his talking makes people look down on his play

BabyHugger 11-03-2004 12:27 AM

Keyshawn is the most overrated receiver in the NFL IMO. He is decent, but not on the superstar level at all.

John la Rock 11-03-2004 02:54 AM

TO is the most cocky/egotistical player in the NFL today but at least he can back it up

Ok dummy, I'll be laughing in your face when they choke again ok.

BCWWF 11-03-2004 03:20 AM

I hate to say it, but I think the Eagles go 8-0 this week. Bobby Knight never likes a team after a big win, Pittsburgh will have to be well prepared.

#1-norm-fan 11-03-2004 04:39 AM

You can't... stop... Big... Ben.

I just wanna see how TO reacts if they are close and he doesn't get the ball late in the game or something.

Tell me one team in the NFC that can beat the Eagles in the NFC? The NFC SUCKS. They should easily win it, they have by far the best team then they put out the past three years.

BCWWF 11-03-2004 04:34 PM

Unlike years in the past, the Eagles would have to lose to a team clearly worse than them to not make the Superbowl. Last time I checked the Vikings were the #2 team in the NFC in the power ranks (this was before that loss to the Giants though), but if thats the case the Eagles should be in good shape.

Also, people keep thinking TO is going to blow up if he doesn't get the ball enough. I don't know why you keep thinking thats coming, in his game against the Vikings on Monday night he barely touched the ball except for one long touchdown, he didn't complain there. He complained in the past when he was on a bad team with an average quarterback. Unless something goes terribly wrong TO is happy right now.
