The Last Samurai
 

Good movie. Way better than I anticipated. It wasn't a hard role to act, it wasn't a complicated movie, but it was done very well. I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but this was good. I'd say I liked it better than LOTR3.

Anyone else see it, have thoughts, etc?

I thought it was really good. Kind of reminded me of Braveheart meets The Patriot in a couple of parts. I wouldn't mind seeing it again and I'll probably buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Yea it definetly had a Braveheart feel to it as well as Dances with Wolves. One of my favourite movies of 2003.

Tom Cruise is the ****ing man.

Yeah my respect, liking of him when up with this movie. Much like it did for me with Mel Gibson in 'We Were Soldiers'.

Tom Cruise has been in a bunch of kickass movies.

Jerry Maguire is a damn good movie too.

I fell asleep for a bit of it. I actually watched it to sneak a peak at the Walking Tall preview.

I saw it. It was good, I guess, but not really my kinda movie. :-\

Plus it was too long.

Last Samurai was very good. anything that Tom Cruise touches turns to gold. I must also say that Minority Report was very good as well :y:

Yeah i really liked it, didn't thought it could turn out this good, I must say i like LOTR3 also. But Last Samurai is indeed a good movie with a cool story line :y:
