Dude Love
 

Was "Dude Love" the most stupid and disgraceful thing Mick Foley has ever done? Did the writers actually think that gimmick was going to work? Am I the only one who thinks Dude Love was awful?

Probably not, but I would think that you are in the minority.

I liked Dude Love. Mick created it, and when the gimmick came to WWE, he sort of ran with it. It added alot of depth to the Mick Foley charcter. One alter ego was a self mutilating maniac, one was a hardcore bastard, and one was a fun loving dudester.

I'm sure Mick had fun doing it, and it got over.

Nah, Dude Love was pretty entertaining at times. Besides, Dude Love has been around since Mick was a teenager (he created him when he was going through his jumping off houses phase) and he wanted to play it, so ho hum.

Besides, Foley is God

Dude Love was my favorite of all of Foley's personas. I think that was the first one elevated to main event status too.

True, Cactus Jack and Mankind always kept him in the upper mid card but Dude Love is the first time Mick got a main event push. Who remember when Dude Love debuted as Austin partner, one of the greatest moments in Raw history.

Dude Loved served it's purpose for what it was, entertainment.

It was done as a spoof, came off as a spoof, but was good. :y:

My 2nd favorite persona of Mick's. More laid back, less intense, and more fun to watch at the time

Dude character was pretty inovative and it worked pretty well

Where you must throw your opponent onto a sheet of dog shit. I kid you not. That's where Michael Cole said, and I quote, "THE DOG POOP! THE DOG POOP! ROCK BOTTOM INTO... INTO THE DOG POOP!"
