LOL, TNA Invades WWE.

WWE was at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL taping their promo for the Royal Rumble when suddenly a bunch of TNA guys showed up. Jeremy Borash, David Sahadi and other unidentified TNA employees came in a peaceful manner and stopped by the taping.

According to eyewitness reports they had conversations with Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho.

Vince McMahon was said to be nearly irate at the fact that the TNA guys showed up.

Also, Val Venis and Rhyno were seen hanging out with Team Canada at a post Impact taping bar on Tuesday night. They all broke into the business together.

-------------------------------
We have even more details on the TNA 'invasion' of WWE yesterday in Orlando, Florida. The WWE crew with RAW and SmackDown! superstars were dressed up like gangs feuding in the "West Side Story." Former WWE producer David Sahadi got together some of the crew from TNA and had Traci Brooks come out with cookies for the WWE crew. Abyss followed her out with some balloons and we had a celebration!; or not..

The WWE crew (mostly management) including Vince McMahon were shocked and furious. It gets even better though.

WWE filed a complaint to Universal later in the day and threaded to sue TNA if they used any footage of the event on their television. TNA was actually thinking about sending a press release out later today.

Traci Brooks with cookies.

awesome :D

Hardkore Kidd J 11-11-2004 04:30 PM

Cool

Loose Cannon 11-11-2004 04:31 PM

If Vince was smart, he'd let TNA air that footage to put in place the possibility of a "real" feud between TNA and WWE. Start to plant those seeds. People love drama like that.

Competition Vince, it's what makes the world go round.

SuperSlim 11-11-2004 04:36 PM

yeah. same thing that could have been used by WCW with the DX invasion. that woulda been huge but they never used it. WWE now has the opportunity to use somethin and they are gonna just let it pass them by. :nono:

Xero 11-11-2004 04:42 PM

LOL @ WWE threating to sue. Vince, Vince, Vince. Really everything there is pretty funny.

John la Rock 11-11-2004 04:48 PM

hahaha stupid Vince. shut the fuck up

Hardkore Kidd J 11-11-2004 04:53 PM

That could have really led to a good storyline. Vince why'd you have to fuck this up?

SuperSlim 11-11-2004 04:55 PM

Because he is Vince McMahon and Vince always knows best

Nowhere Man 11-11-2004 04:56 PM

Damn those TNA bastards and their cookies and willingness to converse with other wrestlers! It's absolute madness!

Gone Mad 11-11-2004 05:07 PM

This is how WWE won over WCW and ECW. 2 words: Cookies and Balloons.

...Vince is funny.

Loose Cannon 11-11-2004 05:09 PM

TNA vs WWE - The war that pits friend vs friend, cousin vs cousin :nono:

They did have a lot of nerve talking with their friends though didn't they? They deserve swift and brutal punishment. McMahhon's already nervous :nono:

6to1 11-11-2004 05:47 PM

uh-oh vince may fire val and rhyno now.

Wildcat789 11-11-2004 05:52 PM

Well, Vince is a little justified in being angry. They did interrupt his taping, they probably costed him some money in doing so.

Of course, it's nothing to get crazy over. If I were Vince, I'd let em do as they like. TNA is losing money consistently, and Vince keeps getting more. If TNA can compete, then why stop them? It's competition that sparked up the attitude years and nearly doubled the company's employment.

When it's all said and done, the WWE will own all the worthwhile talent in that fed anyway, so there's really no point in getting all flustered over this crap.

Xero 11-11-2004 06:15 PM

The problem with Vince not wanting to have anything to do with TNA is because of the Attitude era. According to the Monday Night War DVD, they said that they were close to going under. I don't think Vince wants to go through that again.

On a lighter note, do you think Vince is gonna bug all his wrestler's cell phones, home phones, and hotel phones and fine or fire anyone who talks with someone from TNA? :shifty:

jerichoholic169 11-11-2004 06:37 PM

haha thats got to be one of the funniest things i've heard in a long time. especially the bit with abyss coming out with balloons for a celebration!! i'd almost pay to see the footage of this!!

samichna 11-11-2004 06:39 PM

Hot.

Shadow 11-11-2004 08:15 PM

Oh that's nice Vince. And here I thought you were a nice guy.

El Santo 11-11-2004 08:28 PM

Vince: "Goddammit, Traci, I said I wanted nookie, not cookies! NOOKIE!"

Savio 11-11-2004 08:31 PM

Innovator 11-11-2004 08:43 PM

Competition came very close to putting him out of business.

He had no competition (real competition) in 2000 onwards, and WWE was doing fine.

They dont need competition to do well, they just need to get their heads out of their collective asses and read the writing ont he wall when it comes to certain things/people.

So I wouldn't help TNA in any way.

CosaNostra 11-12-2004 02:07 AM

I guess it was ok for DX to do stuff like that to WCW back in the day.

Get a fucking grip McMahon, you fucking hypocrite.
